Come hang out with me while I brew some out interesting beers. I usually an a lover of classic styles but from time to time I step outside the box and try some new things. Not only will we be brewing but we will also have tons of product reviews and even some collaboration brews with local breweries.

How to brew a Belgian Quad
Переглядів 1,6 тис.4 роки тому
A couple of friends join me as I brew a Belgian Quad. We decided since this beer had such a large grain bill, that we would get two beers for the price of one and do this thing Parti-gyle Style. This technique is when you continue to sparge so that you collect another 5 gallons of wort. The first beer will be your larger gravity style and the second will be a much lower session style beer. Our ...

Spring Beer Recipes: Sierra Nevada Pale Ale Clone (Part 1)
Переглядів 5 тис.4 роки тому
When preparing a recipe I always check the BJCP style guidelines to make sure I check all the boxes. I will often look at the classic examples they give and try that beer while coming up with a recipe. Sierra Nevada decided to post their Pale Ale recipe for folks to try while on quarantine due to COVID 19, so instead of coming up with a recipe I decided to brew the beer that defines the style. ...

Beer Recipe: Second Summer Pale Ale
Переглядів 3275 років тому
With the summer ending you would think the temperatures would start going down but here in NC we stay warm all the way through October. We like to call this season Second Summer or False Fall. What better way to handle the second wave of heat than with a nice pale ale.

When's the next brew day?
that table is a bit sus man...great video!
Boy, get yourself a stable table or some other kind of solid foundation. This will end up badly one day, especially with your little helpers being around.
Tasty looking beer! Thanks for sharing
nice video, thanks! i am about to try this technique for a barleywine this week. cant believe i havent found your channel until now.
I just found this channel and Im very sorry that you stopped posting new content. Thanks a lot the the videos posted! Kind regards
Thanks for this video, i am thinking about getting the 13.5 gal one to do 10 gal batches.
Great video, many thanks. Just brewed a California Common and wanted to compare your tasting notes with mine as don’t have a commercial example to compare over here in Scotland.
How long did you let it ferment?!
Great content sir
Just brewed a quad today, and discovered this post. This is the first I've heard of this "parti-gyle", nor did I have the setup at the time, but it makes a lot of sense. I'll keep it in mind for next time I brew a big beer, as 2 beers for the effort and grain bill of 1 is a smart move. Thanks for the tip. Subscribed.
I'm just laughing about your covid issues now, 🤣 😂 😅. Nothing changed in my hometown. Edit: and I'm gonna try out something like this, thanks for posting!
Hope you're doing well! Miss your videos, maybe we'll get something new soon?
I love your brew crew, so cute. I see future brewers happening 😊🍻
Nice couple video's on this style am about to brew this on the weekend good to know what flavor to look out for.
Hi Ricky, Love the videos. Spotted you haven’t made content for a little while but it has inspired me to try a reiterated mash. Thank you for your video!
If you would brew this again, either to get it closer to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale or just to adjust the recipe to taste, what would you change?
must have quit drinking 🤣😂
ever coming back?
NC State, Atlantic Brew Supply. You gotta be in the Triangle lol.
Using Magnum for bittering and Simcoe and Amarillo for aroma in my saisons. I just love this hop combo. Using fermentis dry yeast BE 134. Got a starter going right now from Orval dregs to incorporate Brett yeast. I'm going for max clarity on this batch too . We'll see. Going to be a slow burn, but should be worth it!
Been brewing strong saisons. Saison is about the only beer I make. You've inspired me to do a lighter version to get ready for spring. I'd like to be between 4 and 4.5%. Instead of kegging, think I'll bottle it and let it condition. If you made this again, anything you'd change besides dry hopping?
What’s happier than a man with a beer? A man with two beers 🍻
Great video mate. I do love a good Belgian and extra beer is always a yes.
Enjoy the content sir. I love this style as it gets the best of lagers without the need for longer fermentation times. Looks great. Hope you and the kids are doing well!
This beer ages very well. I've brewed both extract and all grain versions of California Common. Both tasted good and performed well in competition. I think this style is often overlooked because of the all the new hops and extremely dry and hop forward beers popular right now.
another one drops out,oh well
🤟🍻🍻🇧🇷
Just made a batch of my table beer recipe with Omega C2C. Its great stuff
Cheers to a great brewing video and your happy brew crew! I have some Denali hops and I will give them a try in a future Saison. I've been asked to brew a cucumber Saison for a friend, have you ever used cukes in a homebrew recipe? How would you add them to a Saison?
Great video. Looks beautiful where you live. Cheers from Kent, UK.
I would like to ferment mead in this. Can a lees collector be added to it? I am worried about the Lee’s clogging the valves.
man this beer looks incredible! I'm going to make a version of it. Really love your videos, hope you have more coming soon!
Just discovered your channel. Great video dude. Can’t beat Sierra Nevada. It’ll be by next brew,!
Awesome to see another brother brewing. I’m following
Great videos. Glad I stumbled across your channel. Keep up the good work. Happy brewing from England.
Thanks for the video and i love to try your beer! Could you please share OG, FG, IBU, and fermentation temp of it? I fell in love with mix-fermented table beer after drinking Art of Holding Space from Keeping Together! You should try if you find it!
Thanks for the video.
These always trip me out. I know it's an IPA but my eyes still fool me when I go to take a drink lol. White/blonde stouts do the same thing.
Nice one bud looks a nice little tipple.cheers
you're the best!
Missed your videos!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
He’s back!!! SOO glad to see you haven’t given it up.
I’ve got some beer content coming up but also some whiskey content as well. It’s great to be back. 😎
Good to see you back!!
Great to be back!!
Long time no see mate!
My dude, thanks for making these videos!
Looks like a great brew! Great job. Did you consider using whole cone hops as the original recipe called for? If so, how much of a difference do you think it would have made at the end?
Me: finds a good UA-camr Man I wonder what’s his upload schedule is? “Checks last time he uploaded” Why of course But in all seriousness, hope you're doing good bro, hope to see more videos in the future!
Yea COVID has me in stay at home dad mode. It’s been a wild year but I’ve got my return planned for National Homebrew Day 😁
