Hey! I would say the grapevine. That’s probably a good start. Once you master the fundamentals of a grapevine, the skills you learn from that will transfer to any other freestyle move you learn. If you have more questions let us know. Good luck!!

😆 Thank you! Where we used to skate, there were a lot of figure, hockey, and freestyle skaters so we just watched all of them. We watched how they move, shift their weight, and we tried to copy them as best we could. I’m %100 sure you can learn how to freestyle skate. Tip: Don’t learn freestyle stops with figure skates. insanity is probably my favorite freestyle moves, transitioning into it from a grapevine or barrel roll just looks insanely cool

No problem! Yah the movement is pretty much the same but you’re gonna want to exaggerate the movement for a cleaner Grapevine.
