UA-cam videos have RPMs now!?!? "Yo my UA-cam video hits hier revs than your BMW"🗿🗿🗿

It is very time consuming as you have said. What I am doing now as a starting point to fix this is going back through my videos and simply deleting the first ad if it is placed before the 5-minute mark. I've done this for my first 30 videos. If this seems to make a positive difference down the road, I will go back and adjust more. Also, the first thing I do is look at my average view duration for that video. If any ads appear before that average time, I delete that first ad. In other words, if my average retention for a video is 3 mins and I see an ad before the 3-minute mark I remove it. That ad may be contributing to lost retention.

As a non-partner creator, I cannot grow enough to become one because UA-cam is placing ads in the middle of my hypnosis and meditation videos. My videos get many comments and complaints, limiting my ability to reach viewers and subscribers. Is there a way to fix this before I am a partner?

Here I was just thinking that UA-cam is forcing you to pay just for them to pay you. One UA-camrs rpm was $6.68 per 1000 here thinking are they literally paying YT over $6k

Found Mid-Roll ads cost me watch time and subscribers...so I got rid of them. My Audience are 75% men over 50 years of age..and they WON"T put up with a lot of interruptions and didn't..

Finally someone got the freaking point I've been suffering about. Midrolls have always been on the end of my videos. It was literally 5 seconds before its end. And this made my rpm half. No one talks about this problem in the community based on the country where I live. You made my day bro. You made my whole life buddy.

I found this out myself today. I'm beyond annoyed. I had automated ads on with videos over 100k views and an ad at the END OF THE VIDEO! Literally playing just before my outro. Missed out on thousands of revenue from this, so glad I found it. I strongly urge anyone to look into this immediately for yourselves and *MANUALLY PLACE THEM.*

Depends on the niche and content. I'm training foodservice employees with very specific information to help them pass their industry knowledge base test. I have longer retention rates if anything because my information is that specific and every piece of knowledge you can gain from my lectures, helps the end user watching the video. Placing ads, also give breaks because my information can be very bone dry.

I used to love Ed's content but something always felt a little off about some of the things he was obsessing over. Until it suddenly hit me: he pushes you to think a certain way about your videos and for that way of doing things, he conveniently has a ridiculously expensive training course for it. After I realised that, I started noticing all the ways he's trying to influence you to think how he wants you to think rather than to try and actually help you. I don't blame him, money is the game, and he still gives some solid advice, but once you see the manipulation, it's impossible not to see it anymore. That's why I ended up unsubscribing to his channel. IMO there are better channels out there that are actually trying to help you first and get your money second, rather than the other way around.

But getting 1000 views on UA-cam it's going to take you 16yrs according to that team they said mine we be watched in future i dk upload though

Good video. I love Ed's stuff and I've had success making new channels aimed at recommended, but most people are going to struggle with things until they really "get" the youtube game, and some may never get it. Ed's video skills are insane...absolutely elite for the UA-cam space and I've gotten down on myself before for not being able to match his skills lol, but I have to remind myself he's the best of the best.
