This video was shot at Evadale Raceway at the Redemption 15 race. Charlie had a competition bye run so I figure what the hell. Lets watch him work. Lizzy hazed the tires about 100 foot out and Charlie had to do a little driving.

Why did it get shutdown?
Because the owners wouldn’t put any money back into the track and it doesn’t make sense for someone to put $250k into a property that’s leased.
@@mmchassisshopllc7242 I've actually been asking around, people have pretty much said the same thing. The guy didnt care about the track when he bought it and just let it get worse
The owners purchased it from my parents the end of 1996. They ran it for a couple years and just lost interest. It started going downhill and never made a recovery. It would take 100k to get it ready to hold a race. No one in their right mind would invest that kind of money on property they don’t own. All we can do is enjoy the memories.

Am I the only one to catch on to the fact that the announcer is Scott Taylor and this is the track he owns.
So this guy takes his time to bring us these badass videos and all you pricks do is find something wrong with the people there watching or the drivers out there racing!! It kills me when people bash on folks who are actually out there racing and having a good time with friends and families versus getting out there themselves! As for the people making videos with their phones, it’s called filming for other people who couldn’t be there when they want to be, filming it for other racers who are working in the pits making their cars even faster. Being able to read a track or street is the number one thing it takes to win!!

Whats with all the people at the line? I aint never seen that at a NHRA or IHRA track. And why does it take them so long between launches? And why does it take so many people to stage a damn car? There's even a fat black guy near the beginning of the video thats pushing down on the back of a truck in the left lane as he launches.

Why does the driver need to have a guy stage him? We never had that in the good old days. You just rolled into the pre staged lights. All these freaking people in the lane during the burnout in the way seems dangerous to me.
richard Turk right..I've seen rods come through the hood before during burnouts..
If you're not quite sure where the stage beams are, you could possibly roll thru the lights and get disqualified. Having someone help you stage is an easy way to avoid that. Thanks for watching.

Knowing where to stage is common sense I used to be part of a pit crew for a AA altered blown/nitro Hemi 29 T bucket so I know the procedure. I ran super stock in IHRA and NHRA as well as stock classes. I enjoyed the video tho' keep it up.

Hub City drag-way is a fucking southern SHIT HOLE.. No FUCKING WIN LIGHTS NO SEATING ANYWHERE FOR THE PAYING FANS TO SIT AND ENJOY THE RACING .. Its a true southern shit hole in every sense of the word all it has is black top and anyone who brings there car there or pays to watch drag racing should wipe there ass with the cash you hand them ...And how they allow that Fat fucker to elbow that S10 .. He actually;y has the fucking Nut sack to lean on the drivers rear corner prior to launch .. He should be throw out and banned for that drag racing season period..
