It gets deeper the further out the bungalow is. I forget the number of bungalow but if u watch the vlog i say it and that water was chest deep on me and im tall. U will probably want to be closer to shore than we were. Get our cabin number and then pull up a map on internet and pick your bungalow closer to shore. 😃

Hey we paid a one time fee for one umbrella / 2 chairs and they give u a “ticket” that u can show around the island if u want to switch locations. U show your ticket and don’t have to pay again.

Love the vlogs! We’ve done MSC many times. Tip: There was never a charge for the chairs. The umbrellas are $19 if reserved on the app before the cruise. $32 if you rent them on the island. The lagoon has a couple of the nurse sharks that live there. That’s why I always go to Bimini Beach. 😂 You have a beautiful family!!

Thanks for the support of the channel! It’s a lot of $ but we don’t regret spending it at all. The travel there would be rough from NY….but u would love it! We already want to go back….

On of our neighbors works for Princess cruises and we are trying to arrange a neighborhood group rate - no dice so far tho. Looking at going on a cruise out of LA next - no airfare is appealing after all the travel dollars we have spent this year. Check out the Bora Bora vlogs from earlier this year - vacation of a lifetime! $$$ tho hence the looking for the local cruise next lol

@nkinsocal I will be on a Princess Cruise from LA in November. I'm looking forward to it. I have been to Mexico several times but never on the West Coast side. I've been all over the East Coast of Mexico, hahaha.

@CruisingFoodie the Navigator of the Seas (twice) we have been on out of LA we enjoyed. It’s really nice taking an Uber with a glass of champagne down to the port! No flying. One thing is the cruises are colder. Even in summer - pacific side is just cooler once out in the open ocean. We went in November and May I believe and it was cool to the point where my wife wouldn’t go on slides etc. Still really nice just not warm like Caribbean

First night and maybe the second night of our cruise they had slightly more. Rest of the cruise it was only pizza. This is a factor for me booking the next cruise. For the most part I really liked the cruise and u can’t beat the low cost fare to get on the ship. Pros and cons right? Thanks for watching and your support of the channel. 😃

@@nkinsocalwe’re heading off to cruise the Mediterranean for 2 weeks on Friday. I will let you know if I recommend it or not. The only other cruise I’ve done is NCL Pride of America around the Hawaiian islands and I would highly recommend doing that one if you can. You’ve also inspired me to try and vlog our upcoming trip, it won’t be half as decent as yours though 😂

Such a fun stop. Unexpected just had some extra time b4 set sail so went there to get some more vlog in. Was so authentic and fresh. Cheaper than cruise drinks too 🤷🏻‍♂️

Fave snorkel spot ever is Coral Gardens in Bora Bora. It’s like I was in an aquarium!

We didn’t this time! We knew we had so much time off the ship and would drink off the ship. Beach club day etc…I think it zeroed out maybe we spent a little less. One of the deal breakers for us was MSC forces u to buy the drink package for kids as well if adults are buying one. Our kids drink water. Didn’t make sense for us.

I love to use the stairs on cruise ships. Whenever it’s JUST me I am exclusively using stairs. The ladies wear heels so when we are moving around the ship altogether we use the stairs less. The elevators are definitely different- I would say generally a slightly longer wait to get on one but then once on one it’s less time spent inside the actual elevator. Probably overall a wash.

Hi Joyce. Thanks for the support of the channel. I truly appreciate it. I don’t know the exact code for the excursion but from my understanding it was the only one provided thru the ship that had all 3 activities (Bobsled, Falls, Ragga Ride).

It wasn’t late at all - I don’t remember the exact time but it wasn’t past 10pm that’s for sure. Maybe 9:30? Many were complaining about it. We never actually used the hot tub but we do like hot tubs and it seemed like a really early closing time

Hey - thanks so much for watching and for your support of the channel. We just got off the Seascape end of June. We did also go snorkeling at the MSC Ocean Cay private island. It wasn’t spectacular snorkeling but it was easily accessible and “free” since we took our own gear. There are also paid excursions specific to snorkeling that u can book directly thru the cruise line - or book thru separately through third party operators.

Also and I know it’s not specific to this cruise at all but since u like snorkeling…..have u watched our trip to Bora Bora / Tahiti earlier this year! The snorkelling there was awesome!
