I am the original owner of a fully loaded 2005 300c. My sensor acceleration pedal position connector pin numbers have a different pin out definition than the one shown here. Pins 1 & 6 are +5 volts. Pins 3 & 4 are the ground return. Pins 2 & 5 are the signal variable voltage signals. Pins 2 & 3 are APPS 2 and pins 4 & 5 are APPS 1. Running the test with a +5 volt supply I get on the APPS 2 circuit a linear variable voltage from near 0 volts to a full scale +5 volts when pressing the the pedal. Doing the same test on APPS 1 I get a linear reading but it is of a lesser voltage. Something like 0.2 - 3.3 volts in linear steps. I DO NOT KNOW it this is correct or not. The failure symptom I experienced was my accelerator pedal going from idling to wide out throttle (WOT) instantly. That is totally not linear and very scary. I hope nobody else has this sort of experience. There are resistance measurements that can be taken on the PCM connector side with a DVM that are described within the shop manual for this car. With the video it was a little hard to see what pins he was connecting to.

This video proves my own video to be true in that electronic accelerators are not linked in with your PCM/ECM at all and how people are being scammed into believing a stopped up cat or transmission sensor could be related to limp mode. That pedal sensor as shown, has a direct voltage feed, and from there activates the throttle plate motor on the throttle body and has nothing at all to do with your ECM. Notice how they throw a wrench icon code but not an ECM code? Your scam videos and crooked shops and making people believe you have to focus on other engine sensors and are even making up lies that you have a stopped up catalytic convertor. This video above is PROOF of what I am telling you people

hey JAMS04 could you write where you attached the RED wire, BLACK/WHITE wire, GREEN/WHITE wire since i couldn't see where you attached the wires and on my end there is no audio and I couldn't see your mouth to try to read lips.
