What's all the clanking about?
𝒯𝒽𝒶𝓉𝓈 𝓉𝒽𝑒 🔔
The clanking is caused by the bell's clapper. You don't hear that sound on the Graham White E bells because they are, as the E stands for, Electric bells. The bell you're hearing here is a GE Steel bell which is pneumatically powered. As the clapper claps back and forth, the clanking is 100% normal.
