So glad I found this again. Hit all 3 nights and it was complete madness. To this day this is still the best spacebird drop I've ever witnessed. The energy level from the crowd was epic.

Caught this run after getting on the bus in late 2007. I was blown away by this jam. It was like a baseball bat to the head! The various themes that develop within the improv sections are so creative and moving. They are wizards!

If this is the night im thinking i had an emergency with my boy (and ride) getting taken out in an ambulance the night before. I talked to emts and Drs all while on 10 hits of liquid, and had them sign him over to me. I got the drugs from him in the ambulance, got his ticket for coat check which has his keys and got him at the hospital. Made it back to Boston before sunrise. Wild night

Fun run, not my favorite set tho. I much preferred the year before but maybe it was for reasons other than music. Seeing the biscuits sometimes is as almost as much about the people, vibes and scene, as the execution. Security was tighter than 16 and i dont think any set since at the cap has topped set 1 of 3/26/16.

ugh that distortion on babz' guitar when they prep to drop into the jam section on helix (especially around 14:24) is so bizarre i fuckin love it. 2009 was awesome.

the E-Drum that Allen uses at 10:02 is such a warp effect it brings me back to spring 2009 instantly. i saw them 5 months prior and the night after this one. the edrums and patches from that era are incredible. thirst quencher's galore.
