Bro, Santiago is a zoo. You should have gone to Valparaiso. Way different!!
I was , gotta stay out there a bit longer
I’m a international scuba diver and I’m going here for my birthday in 3 weeks, I really enjoyed this video how you showed exactly where you were talking about with maps being in the background
Este has the best nightlife. Avenida Venezuela and Avenida Espana
Why Vegas?
I had a client there that needed me to come into the office and coach his employees for 2 weeks and I ended up staying for a month.
How did you meet expats
Wework, Selina, Gringo Tuesdays and there are Facebook groups and also WhatsApp groups
@@TravelWithJuice thanks man, you know where i can join the whatsapp groups?
@@lifeisabeginning if you join the bogota expat groups on FB then just search for the WhatsApp group comments
Hi can you tell me about Teusaquillo, we'll be staying at the Hilton for a few days in a couple months and want to know should I expect to uber everywhere
Teusaquillo is quite a big neighborhood that runs from Chapinero Centro to Simon Bolivar Park, so you might need an Uber depending on where you're staying. Most things to do are near Chapinero Central though.
@TravelWithJuice appreciate it bro,
@@Kweschunn fasho!
Good thought... Looking forward to more videos on other digital nomad destinations
Fasho!
The power outages sound like a major inconvenience. How often do they happen?
I'm a digital nomad in Medellin right now, and it's getting expensive.
I heard
It’s affordable for you or other people but not average Colombian. Thnx for sharing your information plus great video
I wish people stop saying things are cheap. This is why Medellin and other parts of colombia is now getting pricey.
Was it illegal!?
Yeah its “banned” but many people still use it and there is even a taxi car option
Do you recommend going out solo? I heard it sucks if you do there
Going solo is not for everyone but if you can go with a buddy or 2
75 gados is fun was there last night
Yeah it’s a vibe
yeah uber moto is the way to go
juice make more nightlife videos plz
I gotcha
hi can you make more nightlife videos

'promosm' 🏃
This is really informative, Ty. I’m a Spanish teacher too and I think this is a smart branch off for you as an additional service you offer on UA-cam related to the culture, because this is very organized and useful information!!
Thanks I appreciate it!
I heard they might be checking some of these onward "fake" tickets harder now - especially being that many places aren't as open to foreigners now. Not saying it can't work, but just beware, I've heard a few stories.
Definitely gonna save me some money and hassle on return flights
Fasho!
I love discovering new travel hacks
I’m glad !
WHy did you move back?! Should've stayed in Bogota i'm heading back soon.
I’m headed back to Bogota next week! 👀
What about Ipiranga?
Don’t think I know that spot
What are some decent paying remote jobs? Im working a normal job rn but trying to get something remote so i can live in south America
I’d say check out opportunities in fields like software development, digital marketing, graphic design, or customer support. Websites like RemoteOK, remote io, or LinkedIn can help you find remote job listings.
You make a good point bro about remote work options outside the U.S
For sure thank 👌🏿
Totally get what you're saying! The lack of walkable areas sucks in US
Horiribe
I need to go back to Puebla
Yeah man it’s straight out there
thanks fa dis G!
Fasho!
Facts A lot of people tryna knowwhere to go in Colombia next month
Yup
Waving a hand from Pereira ✌🏻 bro
Dope how you liking Periera?? Can’t wait to go back there
We have had very similar experiences, although mine has been over several decades! I lived in Candelaria but it's solitary at night, maybe not unsafe but not a good vibe. (In the late 80s it had nightlife but during the drug wars they shut down...I suspect many were money-laundering operations or just hangouts for people in the drug trade.) I have also lived in Galerías, what you call the "part near the stadium," on both sides of the NQS...the west side (Federman) is safe and quiet but very boring, so the east side (Galerias proper) is the way to go. Problem is, the hotels are no better than adequate. I agree that moving northeast is the way to go for most people, what you highlighted is Zona G and a good choice. "Chapinero" is a confusing name since technically the whole area is Chapinero--Marly, Galerias, Zona G, you name it. (I mean for official local-government purposes.) Classic Chapinero, centered on 13 and 60, is very grubby and I wouldn't stay there, but east of Cra 7 is pretty nice. As for Marly, I don't see the point unless you want to be close to downtown in which case you could get somewhat closer.
It's interesting to hear about your experiences in Bogotá over the years. The confusion with "Chapinero" covering various areas is indeed noteworthy Your perspective on these neighborhoods is quite informative Thanks!
Thanks bro, heading there in a week
Your gonna love it man.
what was the name of the coworking you recommend in Puebla? 🏢✨
Workosfera
Hows the internet speed in Puebla for remote work? 📶💻
Yeah it’s workable similar to CDMX
It depends of which service you Pay you can pay bad internet to 5g

I dress business casual…. But wear whatever you want just remember it will be around 40-60 degrees

It’s a 20 min ride
Lima is great 👍🏿

Great city....just really dangerous and no cheap
I agree great city, you felt danger there?
Uber drivers would be reluctant to pick up at the airport. Ride share apps are illegal in Bogota but everybody uses them. Just do the driver a favor and keep you cash low when you pay. Didi seems to be more popular with the locals.
Yeah never used Didi. But it is popular
Typical day would be 45 overnight to 66 during the day. Haven't seen it higher than 72 in three trips.
Are you currently in Colombia I'm currently searching for UA-camrs to collaborate with (Probably more Bogota) Any interest?
Not at the moment Benito I’m in CDMX now
