Well this is something really interesting - he basically catches the point, Italian kitchen is about trying to make full use of the ingredients (I am illiterate on japanese kitchen so can't talk about it). The fact that he goes on site to the vendors to see in first person how do they produce is something essential at a certain level, if you need the best ingredient you have to find it by yourself 👍 and that's 100% Italian style 😂 If I ever come to Japan, this is definitely a restaurant I want to try 😋 Btw Italians LOVE Japan 🥰 and japanese kitchen

Another excellent season, and this was a great video to wrap the season up ! I really enjoyed all the extra background details on both the video-making process as well as about the interesting people you interviewed this season. I've been to Kagoshima a couple of times already (visiting Kagoshima city, Sakurajima, Yakushima and Izumi) - amazing scenery, nature, history, food & drink, people and places (with a special shout out to Sengan-en). Your inspiring videos are a great reminder that I need to plan my next visit ! Thanks for all your hard work and here's hoping for season 4 !

Nice to see you back! As someone who enjoys tea, I could almost taste the tea through Ikeda-san's words and the images, very well done! Do they have an online boutique where we could order some? I know it's not the same as drinking it in the store, but I'm curious nonetheless.

We were very surprised to see the tea plantations on our visit in Spring 2023. Thank you for this view into the long history of tea in Kagoshima. One more excellent reason to return in the future.

Thank you so much for this wonderful documentary! Last year I have been to Kagoshima for the first time. Met there with a japanese friend and we had a really nice time, indulging in the atmosphere of Kagoshima and exploring Kagoshima Prefecture by car. Since then I can relate even more to your films.

Does Yamashita san have an album or songs online to listen to? Such beautiful and powerful music. Sounds ancient.

Tatsuhiko san is such a chill guy and great cook. His burgers are absolutely delicious amd right up there with some top burger restaurants in the US. If you ever go to Kagoshima and want a kick ass burger he wont disapoint you!

Kago is absolutely beautiful. I got to stay there for 5 days last year. I even got to Kayak around volcano Sakurajima. Such kind laid back Japanese people, lots of nature and adventuring, rich Shimadzu Samurai history, very relaxing, and delicious Sakurajima Tiny Mandarin Ice cream Reminds me of South Carolina.
