The cool thing about getting old is that you stop caring about what people think. You can just play with your toys and be happy. The videos posted here are of things that make me happy.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I've got four of those and I love them
Very nice presentation and beautiful lanterns thank you for the tips on cleaning. I started collecting Coleman stoves and lanterns about 20 years ago and still look for them every where I travel. 😊
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Denatured alcohol is highly recommended for preheating, as well as filling up the preheat cup and letting it burn until almost empty.
I have used the yellow bottles of Heet in the past when I had an alcohol boat stove. Burns cleanly with a lot of heat and energy.
Definately send it back to Coleman, they will fix it !!
hi Cliff! Your brother Aaron sent me here. I have 3x 639 and they're among my favorite lanterns!
Thanks for investigating the runaway and for making Smokey LeFlame like new again. Watching those kerosene vapors roll out from under that collar was intriguing and terrifying at the same time! I have come to the conclusion that Smokey is haunted and may be best left unfueled and on a display shelf far away from any sources of sparks or flame.
Hey guys, send that thing back to Coleman!!! Mine works perfect In hot weather, I only have to burn a half alchohol cup and it lights right up and in cold weather 3/4 cup and it fires up no problem. Get it fixed!
Where did you get the paint matched and put into the rattle cans?
- Not Rocketman Replying- It's my understanding that there are paint shops that will custom mix paint and put it into spray cans. I don't believe it's terribly expensive at all. I have done some searching and have seen that O'Reilly Auto Parts also does it in select stores.
Lovely shots my friend 👏, this looks so enjoyable!
Was just in that area this past weekend backpacking!
What was the snowy mountain peak in the first video?
That is Mount Watson!
Awesome, thank you. Looked up the elevation: 11,522 feet.
Interesting lanterns and lamp, thanks for sharing. Good job.
Nice to see that they are running.. good work.
I love the videos brother. Keep it up.
they do not make them, Like that no more. you can not change the Oill like you use to back in the day!!!!
those are very nice.
Briggs holds the exhaust valve open for their compression release. Another lesson learned about the keys in the flywheel shaft. If you have to remove your flywheel do NOT lubricate the shaft or the inside of the flywheel before you reassemble. Clean the parts before reinstallation but keep them dry. Lubricating the shaft and then starting the engine, when you have the shock of an electric starter, this can also shatter the key causing the engine to run really poorly if at all.
Good advise.
The last Canadian 220 was an F Model and was Green and was made in 1973
Is that a Cobra in the background? Awesome!!
1998 Mustang Cobra

Amazing
1 smoking turd 💩
I bought a green single mantle paraffin Coleman some years ago. Still works a treat. Also got a new single dual fuel petrol lantern. Haven't used it yet. Great lamps with high light and heat output.👍👍
Those lamps are great. WINTER IS NOT FAR AWAY.
I'm envious although i shouldn't be... bought a green, great condition two burner Coleman camp stove at a curbside yard sale and she ran like a herd of 50 wild mares. Thank You for this vid.
It seems like the older they are, the easier they are to revive and work better too.
Big fun.
Nothing but the finest in knee protection for the Rocketman! 😂
I've got a early '70s model, dual grn. one from Zayre still in the box.
That’s a fine space grade pink foam pad you got there!
Your Leaking around the main valve nut it’s to Loose or the graphite packing is bad your gonna cause Fire 🔥 but it’s a Beautiful Lantern
Very nice lanterns, happy st Patrick’s day from Ireland.
great video, i have a couple canadian lanterns. Its mostly what we have up here lol. Stay well !!
That quicklite worked very well, youll find the leak. great job. Stay well
Just stunning, made in USA art work.
Looks great!
Nice job camera person 👍 also very nice lantern, been looking at mica lanterns on eBay, But a bit pricey. Thanks for sharing.
That's a pretty slick trick using the vice and a strap wrench to get the valve out of the tank.
