Short video of top speed run. I used my speedo app on my phone- it showed 43MPH, the CYC display showed 44MPH. I am happy with that result using a 48volt battery. Follow up video I talk about mounting 48v battery and take a ride. No top speed runs today just cruising around. I need a phone mount for speedo app and ill try top speed but I can say I have seen 45mph. Hope you enjoy sorry about the quality I don't know what happened lol. Since it's only a 48 V battery, wouldn't the stealth give you the same performance?

I don’t know but it is easy to find out. You need to figure out what style of crank your bike has.

Awesome! This looks so fun. So if your just pedaling with no throttle is the motor pretty quiet and stealthy? How do you find the noise when throttling?
@@frobo512 Thank you! It is a lot of fun! That is the motor, you can pedal with assist but you still here the motor. It sounds louder on video. People i talk to that see me fly by always say how quiet it is.
Got mine going. Drivetrain seems to be clicking a lot if it doesn’t like the particular gear.
@@Goldenstateprospectors my drivetrain will start skipping at 9th and 10th gear if I’m hard into it. CYC warned me to stay off top 2 and bottom 2 gears cause they are weaker. I will have to do drivetrain upgrade soon cause i want all the power when i need it lol.

How many volts are are you running? Just got my gen 4 X1 last week and trying to decide if 72v is necessary.

What chainring did you choose? I have 32t on my gen4 but i wish i got a bigger one

@@ventureimagery6370 i figured that, seems to go faster than mine, i start ghost pedaling above 20mph in 10th gear lol. and im usually in nothing lower than 5th gear when climbing up mountains or steep hills with PAS. do i need to change the motor chainring (currently 53T) as well when changing the chainring? for example will swapping out my 32T with 40T and keep the 53T motor chainring cause any problems?
@@xav1uz it shouldn’t cause any issues as long as there is clearance for the bigger chainring and frame of bike Also it may have a little bit bigger chain but not sure. There is a video at Golden motors explaining the difference’s in chainring sizes for gen4. I hope this helps I am no professional lol
is there a setting to limit the amps the controller is pulling from battery to not trip bms?
where do you go in the settings to limit the amps for your battery ?
Thats good question. I have no idea but i imagine its done through the app. Cyc is releasing a video about the settings soon, they released one about the general settings the other day
Can I ask what specific model of battery that is? Interested in getting the exact same one. The fit on that polygon bike is almost perfect!!

Its actually not too bad at all. Kinda sounds like a drill going down the road lol. I will be posting a video tonight 6/20 or tomorrow and it should give you a idea of how loud it is.
