Made on the LK150 Knitting Machine The reason I have not told you how many stitches, is because it depends on the size of your door, our doors are slightly wider than the average, but you can get away with a full bed if you desire

Hi! What size needles do you use please?

Thanks!
I love this❤
So there's no place in the US that you can buy the board
Amazon has them
How many holes are in your base?
@@allisonclement9486 honestly I didn't count
Hey! Did you increase any sticthes as you were goinf round? X

Hi Wendy, I am a novice at crochet but I am keen to make this for my grand daughter's babies (dollies). I am familiar to a point that for a blanket you have to turn the work over each time you come to the end, however I am confused in which direction you need to crochet once you get to the end of the last stitch. I have not come across a single video that specifically explains if you have to turn over the work or not or if you have to work backwards. Please, can you simplify if what you need to do each time you complete a round. Do you continuously crochet round the same direction? Thank you for your help.
@@nafeessachachia7322 i worked in a continuous round, as wastcoat stitch is near impossible to do backwards, but at the end slip stitch to the last stitch to even it out hope this helps
@@CreateWithWendy Thank you Wendy, this does help a lot. Has become more clearer and maybe less challenging.
Hi Wendy, I have just finished the base and the next step is the hood, which I am already finding it extremely overwhelming as I have not come across a single tutorial in English on how to crochet a full hood. The international videos either do not show a step by step tutorial or the instructions and translation are just not clear enough. I understand about decreasing of the stitches but finding it difficult knowing when and where to decrease, as in rows and between how many stitches.Does the base of the hood has to be multiples of a number? What are the rules? Do you have a tutorial video that could be helpful? Thank you for you help.
How much is the base x
The website is in the description depending on the size you want I don't sell them, it's another company that does wood work

Thank you. You brought up the same concern I have with these - all those little pieces of yarn working their way out. I would like to try making a blanket this way but I think I won't cut the yarn. I do like the solid ones.
The bases are very pricey, and how do you make a profit
@@sfreedom2007 I don't it was a personal project 😁 the cost of the materials no one would buy it pluss the time
What size is the base please. Also is it single wooden base or doubled
what size is the base?
Where is part 2?

I saw this video and had to subscribe.
Che altezza per finire il lavoro e che numero uncinetto? Grazie bel lavoro
Sleeves ?
What side is facing you of crochet ?
As the crochet is worked on both sides wrong and right, it doesn't matter what side you start knitting from.☺️
What stitch do you start on ?hanging it
Do you get the yarn to flatten out? I was trying to make a basket with this exact yarn and it was not wide enough and couldn’t get it to flatten out so they were gaps in between the stitches
I just used the yarn as at came, still roles up, no flattering, just as is, hook size can alter everything though and tention
I would size up your hook a few sizes and see how that does.
Do you have a pattern getting lost lol
Unfortunately not any more, as this was a hand knitted one I transferred to the machine
You don’t mention when to change Russell levers etc on carriage ?
❤😍🌼🌸🌿💖🙋
Bless you for a fantastic video ❤
I don't know how to set tension above 10 on LK150 carriage. The dial runs to end is 9 !
The dile has 2 sets of numbers the second set of numbers are the ones I am referring to, on every other stitch, yes mine says 13 on the top
where is the best place to buy the yarn?
I got this yarn from the wool warehouse, but do an online search for t-shirt yarn, and find what the better buy is
This is great thank you! ❤❤
Glad you like it!
Happy holidays I am glad to see a new video of yours on here. and omg Wendy singing to open the video, too cute. great job with the video. Mike
Can I ask how I would put a hood on this please x
Do half a row, then decease every other row, but it will make it top heavy, you will need to add some metal for support, I wouldn't recommend it, it can collapse on baby
How do you use Tension 13 when the dial only has 9?
If ou look at the dile, it has 2 sets of the numbres, the second lot of numbers that go up to 13, are every other needle so 9 becomes 19.
Where can I buy the base?
I put the link in the discription But just incase you missed it ☺️ www.vikinglaser.co.uk/
amazon
Do you have a new baby sock
Unfortunately not, I normally crochet baby booties over knitting them, ☺️
Question: How many hours did it take to make your basket? Anyone?
As I didn't sit there and do it full out, I can't answer you I'm afraid. This was a pick up put down project owing to real life situations
Which size hook did you use?
8 I believe or 8.5, but it felt right I could have done with a 10
What are the dimensions
Honestly it depends on the base and your tention
What are the care instructions can it be washed cause babies can be messy
While clean, and follow instructions on yarn, you can always line the inside something that can be taken out ☺️
Thank you for the video. Very helpful and beautiful hoodie. I bought a singer LK100 and might try this pattern. I can't find any specific patterns for the LK100. Hope you will upload more videos. Stay safe and keep knitting. Evelyne ❤

Wow, I like the project and would like to learn. Much love from the pearl of Africa, Uganda
Lindos❤👏🏽🙏🏻
Do you need to coat the wooden base with anything so it’s waterproof?
Not waterproof could do with coating, but cannnjust add waterproof mattress on it with sides
Hi. How many balls of the tshirt yarn did you need for the whole project?
unsure, but i know i had some left over, this viedo was a while ago, sorry about the late responce i took a break off yt
How many t-shirt yarn balls did you use for the whole Moses basket? Your work looks amazing 😍 Thank you
I honestly can't remember might have been 3 balls of grey one of yellow
Love this video! Your humour is uplifting! Thank you. I will definitely be trying this out over the weekend. Up till now, I have been hand knitting the ribbings then transferring to the needles on the machine. Your method is so much less time consuming. I have also done the back and front separately, so much sewing up afterwards!
Thanks very much for your very help full video
