I really want to share my experience of my 20 days working in a small sized firm. Even though it is a small sized firm, the principal is really bad.... She is a narcistic person and she wants to blame those who are working sincerely and not even wasting time in the office. She is not even thinking whether scolding this assistant is right or wrong. For the past few weeks there were a lot of income tax work in the office. So, they allotted income tax filing work which has only salary income and income from other sources... since I am only a beginner. I have done at least 8 clients by now. Then the principal also asked to check the e verification status for everyone and asked me to update it in excel file. But when I was doing this work other works have been given by other members such as principal's husband, her senior assistant and principal's sister. so, I completed their work. I was not able to complete that e verification process because of dealing with other people's work. Yesterday she scolded me and sarcastically asked me where my progression for e verification is... I tried to explain her that I was doing the work given by others... but she is not at all ready to listen, she says that I have to shut my mouth... and she also added an e verification column by herself and then asked why it is blank. There was already a column named IT Filed column, so I updated on that column only, I also asked the senior assistant where to update and he told me to update only on the filed column. Even yesterday morning also I was trying to complete that e verification process, but she told to stop doing e verification and quickly complete it returns as yesterday was the last day. I could not believe that I have to face this in just 20 days of working. I don't have any idea on how I am going to endure for the next 2 years of Articleship....

10-12 lac u can get only when u hv done articleship in big CA firm or u hv got into EY , Deloitte for internship... Remember a girl from Mumbai, rickshaw driver daughter, who scored 1st rank in CA ... The salary offered to her was 3.6 lac per annum, may be she did her article under small firm , still she knows something n achieving first rank is not like becoming IAS where u get leaked papers ..CA exam is time consuming, even if u r provided with the answer book to solve the questions u hv to be quick , which comes with practice only .. Only the business linked people marwadi , gujju or who hv link with big CA firms are hired for 6-8 lac . If u want to earn 10-12 lac then u hv to go for big 4 firms only.. If u practice in a small city to make 3 lac per month u hv to work atleast 10-15 yrs if u start from scratch,that too if ur network is good.. ICAI helps u by giving bank n trust audits which may get j fees of around 3-5 lac depending on ur experience if u start ur own practice
