There is not a proper way to identify gender of Arowanas…although people say it can be identified through the mouth size of the fish..arowanas with bigger mouth is male and the ones with smaller ones are females..(because male arowanas incubate the fertilized eggs using their mouth)..

•Sure but you want to train them from the baby stage… •In my opinion live foods are the best.. ( nb. high quality pellets are very costly like hikari ocean gold etc..)

•Feed properly •2 times a day is ideal when your fish is in baby stage..for adult stage fishes 1 time a day is enough. •Don’t over feed. •Maintain the quality of water. (I usually give shrimps, beef heart, and live food if there is availability..)

Yes you can but for a short period of time as this fish grows very fast…it needs more space to turn..

First of all check if the fish is taking feed…then check the body of the fish whether it is free from any illness or fungal diseases, and also I prefer buying small size fish rather than big one..❤️

I was using a top filter..which i have made on my own from yt videos..but now the motor is damaged so only sponge filters are running. ( 2 sponges )

I usually feed shrimps (not dried shrimps), and chicken liver often..you can also go for frozen blood worms if it is available in your area..

Drop eyes are a common thing in case of arowanas and it does not affect the health of the fish but only looks in some some extend..it is totally fine for me and I’m not looking forward for a treatment☺️☺️
