Officially Need for Speed High Stakes was originally planned to be update and expansion to the success of Hot Pursuit. But during the development they realized the new features and expansions are so revolutionary and big they had to release it as a standalone game. It is at least for the PC Version a completley overhauled Hot Pursuit with a new improved engine, new gaphics and updated tracks more cars, more features, new physics and damage models more Pursuit features with Helicopter request, Roadblocks and Support Units. The PC Version is a Masterpiece.

14:39 i've recently finished the DS version, and its surprisingly good, way more interesting than the PSP port, and the maps (cities split into their own mini open worlds, as opposed to being connected in the same plac ) looks really good. It also uses might micro people for the carrer menu theme

I've been playing the ps2 version through an emulator recently, going for all the achievements on retroachievements. It is a nice surprise to see a video about the game being published today. Time to watch it while eating my lunch.

I absolutely loved and grew up with the PC release and played it a lot. It was the first game I had played with damage model and breakable lights. One of the things that really got me was the different liveries for the police cars and the fact that every car had a unique lighting setup with its own flash patterns that didn't match the other cars, something they didn't have before, and really haven't done since then. I've modded so many cars into this game in the past, it was a blast, I need to play it again with patches, I never did that.

Ironically the wii version of undercover looks better than the other console versions idk what the hell was wrong with the lighting but if felt like if i was in a dream sequence

there is a more simulation Logitech steering wheel made for Undercover it's called the speed force wireless

My rating of the NFS game on the Wii -Carbon:8,5/10 look like ps2 version -Pro Street:8/10 not good but not bad -Undercover:5/10 bad graphic -Nitro:4/10 this is not nfs -Hot Pursuit: 4/10 look like android games -The Run:5/10 good story but bad graphic

I played NFS Hot Pursuit on the 360, and I remember it looking good. Now that I see it on the Wii. I know I picked the right version. Also I played Nitro on the DS and it was... a game. I also remember playing Undercover on the Wii, and enjoying it. Also is it me, or do the later NFS games (the ones on Wii) look worse than the much older NFS Carbon? I mean The Run on the Wii is a joke. It looks worse in every possible way. It looks like an early mobile racing game that has baked in mobile ads that you cant remove, and possible contains malware.

MARIO KART WII IS LIT

hard to think that need for speed most wanted 2005 is on xbox 360 aswell. an old nfs game on an actually more modern console than ps2 area. had ps3, thank god ps3 had 1 good old need for speed game, carbon. but gotta say, undercover and hot pursuit 2010 aint bad. haven't played rivals, and pro street has its own unique feel
