Just finished watching, great video. I was thinking of buying a new gun but now I’m going to rebuild my 20 year old one again and look for another good used one for primers. I’m also going to follow the tip of what needles you use. I get lazy sometimes when spraying and don’t alway change spray gun or tips. The first gun you must have forgot to clean the gun after the last job.... None of my guns from cheap to the most expensive ever not get cleaned right after the job.. Always clean it right after finishing painting... Thats the best preventive for long lasting service... And I use 3m high powerspray gun cleaner 26689 availble at HFT $8.99 it cleans way better than lacuqer thinner and you'll find lots of others uses for it....but I still use thinner to save on the 3m spray the 3m goes a long way and cleans dried paint like nobodys bussiness 😂.... You take the 3m and backflush the gun at low psi right after painting or in between color changes this gives you a spray gun that's always ready to rock and less total breakdown cleanings cause the gun stays cleaner between total breakdown cleanings... My guns range from a 1.0 all the way up to a 3.0 tip and needle to spray very heavy superbuild and all are clean and ready to go preventive maintence saves a ton of money in the long run.
