Your true essence lies in your spirit. While you can nourish your body with bread, your spirit requires a different sustenance. A lifeless spirit signifies true death. This is why Jesus proclaimed that man does not live by bread alone and exhorted to let the dead bury their own dead.

Jesus further declared, "Truly, truly, I tell you, it is my Father who provides the true bread from heaven, not Moses who gave you bread from heaven." He continued, "The bread of God descends from heaven and grants life to the world." (John 6:32-33)
