With a lot of hard work from me and my brother and some huge favors and invaluable help from many amazing friends and family, we worked our buts off to make this film what it is. This video shows nearly all the scenes during the shoot and how we achieved the effects that we did. It was shot on a low qulaity camera but we are indebted to out 1st AD Tiago Inacio for shooting all of this footage f...

hmmmm
Wow excellent short story!
Trash
You are.
No atmosphere, no tension, no horror. Who hands out all these awards?
predictable dud
I still love watching this short 7 years later. Brilliant acting!
Brilliant!
Awesome!
Your film is a true masterpiece! Feedback welcome.
Well, I can see why it's one of the best. Fantastic short.
The film is certainly well made, but the plot is not original at all. In fact, they took the plot from a scene in the movie Dead Poets Society. The scene takes place in a cave where the boys share scary stories with each other. One of these stories is exactly the one told in this short film.
i dont usually comment raving about these short stories but this one was so well done and original
Good one!!
I truly can say what I have seen doing by the owner of the shop is the very best laugh acted by an actor in a film. So full of feelings, thoughts and philosophy. and grred, too. AMAZING
Wow that was one of the best short horror films I saw in a long time . There should def be a part 2. Very suspenseful and scary. You can tell you put a lot of work into this. Thank you very much for your work. I'm looking forward to seeing your upcoming content.
Fantastic sound editing
Fantastic
They told this story in the cave of the Dead Poets Society. The person building the puzzle was a woman in that story.
30 award's,it was absolutely shite
Little too short
Well done 👌
Hats off to the sales guy sells a puzzle with no pictures? Dam. He could sell ice to an Eskimo
Haven't seen such a good movie in long time simply best short horror movie
well, can't say you haven't been warned!
This is great. There should be a part 2
This is a very nice movie, however, I believe the plot looks very similar to "The Road Virus Heads North" by Stephen King
im loving all the short films, and this one is no exception. love it
Wicked-Fun!*****
Wait. Why is the puzzle seller immune to the curse? Wasn't he tempted to try it himself? I know, I know, I'm ruining the magic 🙄
I really do despise people who hand you an item and then refuse to let go! They usually have the most obnoxious personality! 😆
Life’s been tough for Malone since leaving Major Sharpe
Seriously? Someone would buy a jigsaw without a picture on the front to match it? And he noticed that it showed an image of himself in the room only when he'd finished it? As with most supernatural horror, it makes not the slightest sense when you poke it even a bit.
Encore!!!
Pretty cool 8 min vid. i wonder how these puzzles received the name "jigsaw"? Maybe they were originally made of wood cut into pieces by a jigsaw.
I'm no longer into horror movies, but what a joy to watch. Congrats!
I have watched many of these "short horror stories" and have not been impressed with ANY of them except THIS ONE.
Brilliant acting
Back in the late 90's, there was a show on the Scifi channel at the time called Exposure. It was a show of short films. One episode featured a guy putting a puzzle together on his couch, and the puzzle was of him putting the puzzle together. There were some great shorts on that show.
Full of suspense! looked good, sounded good. Acting was superior.
That first part would be a great scam to get rid of some old product. I bet he could have even gotten him to raise the price.
Never trust Sergeant Harper to sell you a jigsaw!
Creo haber leido esto antes...hace mucho tiemo alguien sabe si esta basado en un cuento es realmente familiar para mi
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 this was good.
wow that was awesome for a low budget short film, deserves more recognition
Excellent-! Only bad thing is its just so short....
I have never been a fan of jigsaws
We used to tell this story as a campfire tale when I was a kid! It’s so interesting seeing it played out.
I hate these damn short films and I just don't understand the point of them. Then at the same time I watched them only to torture myself with wanting more. Some of the best movie concepts and storylines are in short films. Evidently... I just love torturing myself over and over. Because I go in, knowing exactly how I'm going to feel when it's over and I'm just going to tease myself once again.😂
i like
I remember hearing this story as a child. It never really made an impact and I thought it was a crap campfire story. However seeing it on screen was definitely intense. I was pretty sure going in I knew the story but it still gave me chills and anxiety to see it unfold. Excellent direction and execution.
that's such an impactful comment for us as we heard the campfire story as kids and it sent serious chills through us which was why we wanted to make the film. we always thought the story would naturally be better than the film so your experience means a lot to us and we're super happy you got that special freaked out feeling ;) Thanks for watching!
