Hello. Is this the same as the Thinkcar Max? If not where did you purchase this from? Is this a US market tool or global?

Can Platinum S20 can do TCM programming?

Sometimes You get drowned with all the Different Scan Tool Brands and Models and Different Sub Models and their Capabilities that are out there... Its Very Hard to Get a Hang of all of them and what they do... Been Looking At A Tool that Will Pretty much do everything on a Budget.. I Have Bought Some and have to Return Because they largely did not do what they advertised. My Latest One is The XTOOL A30M which was Supposed to Be Bi-Directional, Have 21 Special Functions and Sensor/Module Reset/Calibration and It didn't have any of those... I started learning about these Scan tools ever since the Lunch X431 Came out Few Years Ago, but was too expensive for Me at the time and I did not know Much about cars and scan tools then. But, Technology and These Scan tools have come a long way since then. But Recently The Thinkcar ProS have been on My Radar Again, Very Impressed with its Capabilities And Looks to have the Features that I'll like to have as a Home DIY'er as I don't like going to Repair Shops If I Know Exactly What My Problem Is/What needs to be Repaired, I Can/Will Fix It. So I Just Need an All Round ScanTool that has Advanced Features can Talk to the Car and be able to tell Me what's going on no matter what it is. I Also Have seen that ThinkCar ProS Has ADAS Capabilities As I have a 2015 Infiniti that I have been working on Since Last Year After I Replaced the Sonar and Some Modules/Sensors and As You know with these new Cars, Once You Replace Any Module/Sensor You have to Recalibrate the whole thing. Heck sometimes you Something as simple as Unhooking the Battery, You have to Recalibrate some sensors... So I Had to quit Working on Because It got to a Point where I Needed to communicate with the the Multiple Sensors and the Scan Tools I had wasn't Able to do that.. Just trying to make sense of all these Scan Tools to See which One will Be the Best Bang for My Buck... I Just saw this Version of the Thinkcar Called S20 and Just Read about you guys talking about another called S8? What are all the Difference? Are The S20 & S8 More Advance than the ProS? Or How are the S20 and S8 Different from The ProS? And Are there Other S-Numbered Versions Out there that I Still haven't Heard About? I Will also Send You an Email at the Email you Provided. This is the second review I’ve watched on this specific tool and it comes highly recommended in both. I’ve also looked at the s08 only because I don’t really require the heavy duty aspect of the tool. Are they relatively similar in other respects? I’m a home Diyer and retired Aircraft mechanic and taking courses on all the new automotive electronics. Just a new passion to keep the brain active.
