Do you still like your Elna Excellence 792 Pro? Thanks!
Can you show us your finger mouse so we can purchase one. Also your laser also :) thank you
Elna 792 Pro Do you still like this machine?
Thank you! Some of the files I download do not have a BMP file. So then, I have no image???
I only have a WMF file
Please my is not working the handle
I had a bit of time to try this new way to use a long arm and had fun making a few of them (4 on the same WOF backing since it was there. I noticed that Angela commented fairly early on the video that she would put approximate sizes of each piece of fabric at the end of the video and I never saw that. So one of the times I made one, I wrote down what my sizes were. So... Tree trunk 3x8"; Left side of tree background 4x6"; right side of tree trunk 4x8"; (the next 8 pieces are from bottom to top of the treeI) 4"x6"; 2.5"x6"; 3.5"x5"; 3.5"x4"; 3.5"x4"; 2.5"x3"; 2.5"x2.5"; 2"x2". Piece of background needed for left side of quilt= 4x22" Piece of background needed for right side of quilt = 6"x18".
I would love to see a more detailed video showing a more complex repairing your pattern (i.e. correcting a pattern that is slowly going awry on a big quilt with fairly tight quilting).
Hi, thanks for a great video! I need a new travel machine and am wondering what the difference is between the EC60 and the Janone 3160? All I can see is the Elena is prettier! 😊
I finally needed to do this today. Worked so smoothly. Thank you!
Glad it helped!
Thank you for this Angela. I am wanting to do something similar to this with a digital silver bells pattern and use mutiple colors.
You say you are tapping in Quilt Path, but the camera is on the quilt, not the Quilt Path screen. I would like to see what you are doing in the software.😕
I wished I could have seen the computer screen so I could see what buttons you were using.
Sorry, the computer screen was really hard to see via a camera. I do say the names of the buttons when I tap them.
@ you always do a wonderful job. I’m a more visual person and I hope I didn’t offend you.
@@judyhebert8928 You didn't offend me. I just didn't have time to do screen capture off of my desktop and the video facing the tablet was not actually usable. So it is what it is...
Is it possible, or would there be any benefit, to taking off the press foot while you’re using the laser to mark your leaf?
your camera should be focusing lower, on the machine & not the face of the demonstrator, so we can see what she's talking about!........
How do you set up quilt pathto do a pattern a block
Using Select and Sew. Chose the pattern you want to quilt and then you get to use the placement settings to place the block. If you are new try Block Stretch which will let you set the top left and bottom right of the block on your quilt surface to place and size the pattern you have chosen.
What does "cutting the quilt" mean? Also, you clicked on a box next to "pattern fitting" near the end of the video, but you didn't say what that does.
I love these videos. I took your online class, but these videos are great refreshers.
How do I upgrade to the latest Qulit Path release?
Make sure your WiFi is on then, on your Home Screen go to Help in the top right, choose Software Management and then Check for updates, then Update now from online files. If there is an update for your Quilt Path it will be listed, check the box and it start the download.
Thanks! Really helpful!
Great review, thank you for mentioning turning off during a storm. I never sew when we are having storms. QUESTION, you marked the middle of the zone, I go to the top left side. Does it matter? Thanks for sharing all of your great knowledge!
It's complete about how you feel like you get control. I will be teaching 4 points too. It's just easier for newbies to learn one option then learn other ways the can do things later. So keep using the top left if that is where you are comfortable.
Thanks Angela! Why should we avoid the pull bobbin button? I’ve been using it and have not noticed anything unusual.
Because there are known issues with Bobbin Pull, the largest being that it does not always give you the interface to mark the next zone. But there are other movement based issues too.
Angela, thanks for your videos they have really helped me!
Great teacher
I'm a little confused. If I have a thread Sensor and I Wrap thread guide BEFORE sensor, I do running stitch on the thread guide after? Just want to make sure I understand.
Yes, you only do the wraps around the guide once (that pretensions your thread) and if you have a thread break sensor that needs to happen before the sensor wheel.
Angela, What machine is that? And how long is your frame? How big of a quilt can you quilt? Thanks, Candace
It is a 2024 Lenni and it is on my 5 foot show frame. I can only do baby quilts or art quilts on it without moving the entire quilt sandwich.
Angela, so happy that you are updating the tutorials. There is so much assumed knowledge built into this system, as a new user it’s overwhelming. So thank you so very much.
You are so welcome! Glad the videos are helpful.
So glad you are asking these updated tutorials, as the QP screens have changed over the years. As a new user this is so helpful.
Glad to help!
How nice to find you here! The light was so good in this video and I actually understood for once. LOL. Hope you will have a lot more videos here. I can never find you at Vimeo even though you have helped me several times.
Thank you for taking time to do these videos. So helpful if you get into a situation you need to be walked through. My only suggestion would be to number them in the order we should watch them for continuous learning. I watch the videos as fast as you make them because I love learning all I can. Thank you again!
There is a play list for the which has them in order. UA-cam unfortunately does not treat creator well if they are numbering episodes.
Thank you! Helped me help my mom! She suggested you.
Glad I could help!
Thank you, your explanation are so wonderful and easy to understand!
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent! Thank you! Only 5 minutes in and already getting great tips.
Great to hear!
the maximum stitch width is 9MM, not 7MM..........
Hi I bought the same machine second hand...can it make the trending MAMA font shirts as well.TIA
Please help! I cannot get my stylus to work. Any suggestions. Have new battery and still does not connect.
Have you replaced the tip? If it is a Surface stylus we use HB nibs for the tips.
Great video Angela! Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
That must be the new system.
Can you talk some more about tension? While using Quilt Path on my Millie, my tension looks perfect except for very small sections in different directions where I get flat lining. What should I adjust? What causes this?
Rose, do you have the book from your beginner's class handy? Things that can cause directional tension start on page 17. I would be looking to make sure my hopping foot is level, that my machine is threaded correctly, is the sandwich tension where I want it.
Didn’t know about how the tension knob has a way to gage the starting point of the top tension!
That was a game changer when someone showed me that years ago.
Thanks Angela. Super helpful to those of us that are new to longarming or magnetic bobbins.
You are so welcome!
Thanks Angela. That was helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Cute title, frame on quilt
Video to pin on zipper
Great suggestion! I will put that on my list of things to film.
I like that color and the bright lights.
The lights are pretty awesome!
Looking forward to this very much. See you there! & Thank you!!
Can't wait!
Thank you so much this software is amazing you can do so much can’t wait to learn it all 😊
It is amazing! Can't wait to see your quilts! Reach out if you need help!
Thank you so much for doing this 💜
I can’t wait to learn more about QP.
So excited for this!
I’m interested in that Snowman Quilt behind you, Cathy! Would love to see it in its entirety!
