I don't know how he sprayed that while talking through is video. I could barely handle spraying a little 6 inch area on my rusty garage door rail as a test. The door was open, and I had to walk a way for a moment. I bought a 50 dollar 3M respirator, and I'm pretty sure that saved my braincells. A whiff of brake cleaner is nothing compared to this stuff. Works great though.

my collapsible shaft rusted through and snapped today while parking the car. The tow truck guy said "replace it with a pipe and weld it in", which didn't sound right to me. Took it to the Bug specialist, who's going to reweld the original pattern (you can't buy new ones any more in Turkey, where I am). A much better solution. So this video could have saved my life (if I hadn't gone with my gut anyway) during a crash.

Wanted to tell you it fit perfectly! I was scared to death something unforseen woupd happen and id have to get the body back up and tear the pans out! But your instruction was 100% perfect. Go to Harbor Freight and get yourself an angle finder for less than $5. You can then get the car totally level at zero degrees up on 4 Jack stands. Disassemble axle from spring plates, carefully wedge the plates off their stop and then measure the angle of both plates unloaded. They will likely not be at the same angle due to one of the torsion bars (more often drivers side) having lost some of its stiffness. Find the chart online for your year of car that tells you how many splines to move and in what direction to raise or lower.
