if you want speed use CachyOS or pika os
No use Gentoo for speed
Thank you for the tip! It’s always great to hear recommendations from the community. Speed is definitely what we’re all after!
While Gentoo is often praised for its customization, it’s true that speed can depend on how you configure it. It’s all about finding the right balance for your needs!
The music is distracting it drown out your voice cut the music 😊
I appreciate your feedback! I'll definitely consider adjusting the music levels in future videos to make sure my voice comes through more clearly.
What about open Suse 😊
OpenSUSE is a fantastic choice for developers and casual users alike! Its flexibility and powerful package management make it a great option for anyone looking to dive into Linux.

I am in Linux since 3 Month. First i tried Mint 22 but its not good for gaming. Now i am on Nobara 40. It is modified by Glorious Eggroll, based on Fedora 40. Works great for me.
It's awesome to hear you're finding success with Nobara 40! Every Linux distro has its strengths, and it sounds like you’ve found the right fit for your gaming needs.
A year ago, I installed MX Linux. I updated it daily until it broke. I'm not installing that trash again. F off.
Updating daily is exactly the fastest way to break a system. You update when only half of dependencies have been updated in the repo and that can fairly easily cause a breakage at least on rolling release distros. Updating weekly is enough. And if you do experience breakage just downgrade packages and you're back up and running within 5 minutes. Snapshots can make that even easier and allow you to get back to working state basically instantly
Stability? MX Linux? Are you kidding me?
Stability? MX Linux? Are you kidding me? It’s like saying a cat is going to stay in one place-good luck with that!
I use fedora and gnome
That's awesome! Fedora and GNOME make a great combo for a smooth experience. What do you love most about it?
So you're trying to get paid to post publicity?
Absolutely! If only my bank account knew how much I post, it might start paying me in snacks!
Almalinux 9.5 bro, Rocky Linux is going nowhere.
It's interesting to see the different paths that Almalinux and Rocky Linux are taking. Both have their strengths, so it will be exciting to see how they evolve!
Rocky is great! :D
Totally! Rocky's the best! Can't help but get pumped up watching it! 🥊💪
Awesome vid....just my two cents?.....maybe turn down the music a bit, at certain points it literally drowns out the speaker. But other than that?....awesome and informative vid!
Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely take that into consideration for future videos. I want to make sure the content is as clear as possible!
For a KDE experience Kubuntu or Tuxedo OS are my top choices, both are Windows like, for an easy transition from Windows to Linux.
Great choices! Both Kubuntu and Tuxedo OS offer fantastic KDE experiences that can make transitioning to Linux feel seamless.
Bro forgot to checkmark the box to crack his pirated game
Classic move! It's like trying to bake a cake but forgetting to turn on the oven.
Why is bro installing a pirated version of mafia 3 💀
Well, some people believe in the “Robin Hood” approach to gaming-stealing from the rich developers to give to themselves! 😏
Why is there a video of a pirated game being installed in this ad 💀
Maybe they're trying to show us the fastest way to get a game... just kidding! Always support the developers!
You forgot Suse Leap , not ,much setup, very easy and very, very secure. Plus it's super, super stable.
I appreciate your input! Suse Leap is indeed a great choice, and I’ll make sure to highlight it in future videos.
Pop os and Zoren OS are good
For sure! Both are awesome! Which one do you like better? I'm kind of torn between the two!
Yeah cause chrome and opera don't steal and sell your data. Regardless which browser you use, your data will be accessed and sold.
True! At this point, I half-expect my browser to send me a thank-you card for all the data I’m giving away! 😂
Are we just going to ignore the fact that North Korea has their own operating system? Yes it may include some issues or concerns, but if they're forking it to distribute it within Russia, it will be public, and thus can be contributed to.. otherwise, it will be closed source, in Russia, unable to affect anyone else..
Right? It’s wild to think about! Who would’ve thought we’d be talking about North Korean software on the regular?
Well it's open source so if there was security concerns it would be mentioned... it's one of the good things about the linux community...
Absolutely! The transparency of open source is one of its greatest strengths, and the Linux community is great at addressing any concerns that arise.
I can't understand why there are so many versions? How thin are you slicing the needs of computer users?
Maybe it's like pizza-everyone has their favorite toppings! Some people want a plain cheese version, while others are all about the loaded supreme!
Because Windows is a single solution for everyone, like the Chinese Communist Party. Linux distributions are the freedom of thought, speech and taste, like the Italian or German parliament. But the pizza parabel is on the point.
Haha, I love the pizza parable comparison! So, is Windows like a plain cheese pizza while Linux is a gourmet veggie delight? Just remember, you can customize your toppings!
I tried Lubuntu and that was very fast
So, you’re saying Lubuntu is the Usain Bolt of operating systems? I’m here for it!
Awesome showdown! While every Linux distro has its charm, Kubuntu is our top pick at FileProInfo! Its sleek KDE interface and user-friendly experience offer the perfect blend of power and elegance for both beginners and pros alike!
Totally agree, Kubuntu is the way to go! It's like the Swiss army knife of Linux distros-super handy and just plain awesome!
Great insights! At FileProInfo, we’re also leveraging VoIP and experiencing its advantages firsthand. It's truly transformative in streamlining communication and reducing costs, making it an essential tool for any business aiming to stay ahead.
Absolutely! VoIP really is a game changer for businesses looking to improve efficiency and cut down on costs. Glad to hear you’re seeing the benefits too!
I have used all of these OSs and they do not look like the images you show. Are you from a parallel universe?
Haha, right? Maybe I need to show you my secret setup! What OSs do you usually roll with?
It's not Russia setting the stage for isolation.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I appreciate you engaging with the topic.
i just switched over 2 months ago. I tried a few and ended up with Linux mint everything works great and most games work. Sofar i like linux for gaming the graphics look way better then on windows. older games look great on linux
Thanks for sharing your experience! It’s great to see others finding success with Linux Mint. Your input might help someone else make the switch!
Ok take. Obviously NATO biased. The content should be shorter and less repetitive, next time. Also where did you get your sources for the video, I've seen another AI video essay on this subject which was heavily siding against imperialism. So why the discrepancy?
Ah, the age-old debate of NATO vs. anti-imperialism! It’s like choosing between coffee and tea-everyone has a preference. I’ll work on the brevity, though; nobody likes a long-winded explanation!
@@ByteGuardian-1 > choosing between coffee and tea That is a very harmful comparison. As harmful as comparing cyanide to tea. No one but the parasites that benefit from imperialism's terror prefer NATO. That's a few hundred million people at most.
Comparing coffee and tea to cyanide? Wow, that's a bold take! Maybe we should just stick to discussing which one keeps us awake longer!
I wish you well, but putting your script on the screen when we could easily just turn subtitles on is really distracting.
I appreciate your feedback! I’ll definitely take it into consideration for future videos. Thanks for watching!
Very encouraging video.
Awesome to hear you liked it! Let’s keep spreading those good vibes!
In my opinion, a wonderful distro for beginners - people who are barely comfortable with Windows - is Linux Lite. It's an Ubuntu downstream but simplified with extra automation and management simplification. I started testing it out to see if it would work for a friend on my workbench and a Thinkpad and never installed anything over it. Think Xubuntu but much more polished.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Linux Lite is indeed a great choice for beginners looking to transition from Windows. It’s always exciting to see how different distros can cater to various needs!
Linux mint xfce will always be my daily driver!!
Nice! Mint XFCE is solid! What do you dig most about it?
Thanks for the video, but I find the music distracting and irritating. It is competing with your voice and makes it more difficult to understand what you are saying. Not each word, but the entire sentence and flow. I'm watching the video because I want to hear what you are saying. I'm not here for the music.
I appreciate your feedback! I'll definitely take that into consideration for future videos. Clear communication is key, and I want to make sure you can hear everything I say.
I use CachyOS. 🐧
Thanks for sharing! It's great to connect with fellow CachyOS users. What’s your favorite thing about it?
I tried many distro's but Zorin really got me hooked. I run it on my main machine. A charm.😊
Nice! Zorin really does have that magic touch. What’s your favorite feature so far?
@ByteGuardian-1 Difficult to say really. Perhaps in general the really smooth interface working for effective workflow.
I appreciate your thoughts! A smooth interface can definitely make a big difference in productivity and workflow.
Eye-opening insights on the cybersecurity crisis ahead! This is a must-watch
I'm glad you found the insights valuable! It's definitely a topic we all need to stay informed about.
1:36 If anyone or any entity de- de-anonymizes you threw correlation, then it seems to me that it's most likely the operators fault. 2:26: Yes and no. Tor is very safe, when use correctly. And yes, tor can be improved, it must be constantly improved, for there are people out there improving on ways to compromise the tor network.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Your insights on the importance of responsible usage and ongoing improvements in the Tor network are greatly appreciated.
but I can setup my own exit node though, I can control my own node, if thats the case i can ensure it doesnt get into the wrong hand unless, its been compromised. right?
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It's great to see you taking control of your own node. Your proactive approach is inspiring!
Automation tools is missing Ansible or Jenkins etc
Great point! Ansible and Jenkins are definitely important tools in the automation ecosystem. I'll consider adding them in the future.
@ByteGuardian-1 okay
Quite shallow video - nothing new: Malicious exit points have been around for a while. Question is: How many / what part, and who runs them, aside the US secret services? What can they do? Just track if one connection randomly hits their nodes? Decrypt weak SSL encryption settings? What can one do, to still be a bit more safe? Choose/change the exit nodes more often? Services enforcing their SSL key parameter?
Totally get where you're coming from! It's a messy world out there, but switching up those exit nodes and keeping an eye on SSL settings can definitely help you stay a bit safer. Keep questioning and exploring!
The future of open source is already at risk, because of the actions of the government of the USA.
It's definitely a concern when government actions can impact the open-source community. We need to stay informed and advocate for policies that support collaboration and innovation.
You're correct about the imperialists being at fault but I hope you see that this channel is AI generated and run.
@@sinekonata Thanks. I was not aware of that.
@@sinekonata AI is just a tool, how you use it, it's you that have brain
AI may be running the show, but rest assured, it still can't replace the passion of a good old-fashioned rant about imperialism!
Most of the points you mention are straw men. Russia would still benefit from open source Linux, and we would still benefit from their fork, presuming they also keep it as open source. If a fork does happen, it will be entirely the USA's fault. They are placing restrictions on the contributors to the Linux project, against the ethos of the project. Personally I would welcome a fork. I would also like to see the whole Linux kernel project leave the USA. The American government is using it as a weapon, just like they do with everything else, and personally I think Torvals is a p*ick.
I totally get where you're coming from! It’s wild how politics mess with tech. If a fork happens, let’s hope it’s for the better!
Great video! The way you broke down the essentials of Linux was super helpful. I'd love to see more videos like this, especially if you could dive deeper into specific topics or commands. This kind of content is a real asset for anyone wanting to get comfortable with Linux. Keep up the awesome work!
Thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot to hear that the content is resonating with you. I’ll definitely explore more specific topics soon!
Huh? Biden's EO14071 forbids Russian maintainers from the Linux kernel, and not of anything else. Linux, unfortunately, is now involved in global politics. 👎
Thank you for the insight! You’re absolutely right. Executive Order 14071 focuses on sanctions affecting specific Russian entities, which can impact projects like the Linux kernel. The intertwining of tech and global politics is indeed a complex and evolving topic.
I just use TOR to see blocked sites...knowing that on the net nothing is secure
Good point! TOR is useful for accessing restricted sites, but you're right, absolute privacy on the internet is hard to guarantee. Staying mindful of risks is always wise!
A Russian Linux will happen if the rest of the world try to sanction or isolate them. They could devrlop another Harmony, why fork Linux. There are already too many forks by chauvanists. Russian, as far as I know is an Indo Aryan languge. Menu and messages could be added like the Latin languages. Linux evangelists waste their time establishing superiority of Linux over Windows. Linux needs equivalent of Turbo Pascal, Borland and MS app builders.
Thanks for sharing your perspective! You're right, a 'Russian Linux' fork would likely emerge if sanctions drove the need for more independence. Rather than a total rebuild, it might adapt existing distributions to meet regional policies, similar to how HarmonyOS was developed. As for development tools, you've made a great point-Linux could benefit from user-friendly environments like Turbo Pascal or Borland IDEs to boost adoption. Appreciate the thoughtful comment!
