Is there any noticeable power increase?
Used to ride a lot when I was younger, but haven’t in about 15 years, I want a 4stroke 250 cc dirtbike, , trail mix - what are your thoughts on me jumping on this bike being out of the game for a while? Too much bike? Or sensibly doable?
If your getting back to riding this 250fx is perfect. It has 6 gears which make it a lot more mellow only downside is I find myself shifting a lot when on a MX track. Other plus is the Yamaha mapping from your phone. You can put a mellow map or a more aggressive depending on what you want.

How tall are you if you don’t mind me asking. I’m 5.8 150lbs - thinking how I would fit, and if I would need it resprung
Im 5’10 200lbs I had to go with a stiffer spring. You may be able to get away with stock youll know once you set sag. As far as height it was perfect for me

Hi What’s more faster a Yz 85 or Kx 85, both year models 2021-22
I have a kx but in 2019 yz 85 got a power valve which increased the power alot so il say the yami is faster

cant wait to get a new exhaust system, probably gonna get the megabomb header for my 2020 yz 450f. already upgraded the air filter to k&n and installed a hydraulic clutch lever, next is new sprockets and chain going to use sunstar everything. then maybe i will do the exaust system and then tune.

Hey when you kicked it you slapped the kicker with your foot and when you do that your snap ring can pop off or snap then you won’t have compression.

Beauty bike! And a sick looking can to top it off! I haven’t had a chance to swing my leg over a 250fx yet but I would absolutely love to. I’m not sure how it would fair compared to my 250 2t but am excited to try.

Sounds exactly like my stock 2015KX loud af origanal stock pipe. Looks 100% better tho. BUT for that couple 3hp gain I would have saved 600 bucks on full exhaust an just spend 75 bucks on gears (2 up 1down). Would feel like a 5hp gain an would be perfectly fine with 6 gears on the fx model. #live an learn

2 months and only 10 hrs on a new bike....sheesh. when we go riding for the day its minimum 5hrs. That's 2 rides a week. This guy paid 8k to let the bike sit. Hopefully he rides other stuff in between the 250fx. That's a nice all around bike. Might be the death of the WR....
Same bike here, need a sparky approves muff. From what I’ve read this is actually quieter than a q4? Is it noticeably quieter than stock? Looking to quiet it down for local trails.
Midwest and The Rest it’s definitely quieter than stock as far as the q4 I do not know
I have the same bike..... I HATE it, I wish I bought a Ktm instead. I only ride slower trails and this suspension is WAY to stiff. And it has starting issues. Yamaha came out with a bulletin to fix it but it didn't work

are you sure its the FX because the normal F has very stiff suspension. and like aaron said if its too stiff change your clickers it's not like you're stuck with one setting
are those acerbis frame guards for the 250f? or is there a specific fitment for the 250fx?
So I got them on Rocky Mountain. They said that it would fit the FX. When I got them the bag said for yz250f. The right side fit perfect. The side with the kickstand didn’t due to the kickstand. I made it work by shaving the frame guard corner wasn’t much but definitely not plug and play. Overall really happy and you cant even tell I shaved the corner.
