I know what i like and i like what i do.
In this channel you will find YTPs, Reviews, Mini "Documentaries" , A cappella, Mixes, SMALL TALK, Mods, Discussions, Compilations, Re-Uploads, Unboxings... but more importantly, i know what i like and i like something fun, informative and concise. Lately i've been focusing on the band Genesis, progressive rock and related acts, yet i'm also a huge fan of retro videogames and old technology in general. I also have 2 more channels and a progarchives account.

Genesis "Ads." - Watcher of the Alarms
Revelation is the new revolutionary clock that spies your while you sleep, i mean, that it doesn't exist, but it also does, this is a parody, please don't sue my brain.
Anyways, i ran into some issues while making this one, the part were i have The Lamb cover art was a lot more fluid, but my computer had performance issues so i had to resume the motion quickly, but the others were coming out bad already so didn't care much.
More insights into the production, i wanted to release this as soon as i could after the product was revealed, so that this video doesn't lose relevancy, but i ran into so many other problems, mainly because i had too many stupid ideas (some will be used on Small Talk episodes for the next season), and at the end of the day, no realized dialogue or structure, so i improvised over the original video dialogue and also recorded audio for the blob of text i had lying around, and in the end, both were mixed in editing (you can notice that from my starting dialogue and my shift of tone at the 13 second mark). Other than the dialogue, i had so many audio bits laying around, so it was layers of editing over editing, ended up cutting some sections from the original video and ones that i wanted to introduce, or else this video could've taken me another week or something, or those sections would've dragged the video for way too long (its already too long for an Ad already lol).

Funny you mention that, one part i cut of the dialogue was saying "featuring 15 albums" and i had no tracks from FGTR in my editing pile so i scrapped that section instead of adding the FGTR tracks lol, the other option was to re-record the line and say "14 albums because no rights" but at that point i should've added the FGTR bits, but it was easier to remove.
I feel so nerdy for understanding most of the references...

Tony didn't use the Mellotron 3 violin tapeset on "All in a Mouse's Night", he used the Roland RS-202 string synthesizer instead. That's why it sounds so much better live 😊 Originally posted to say he didn't use the 3 violin tapeset at all on the album. Realised I'd got the unused tapeset wrong - it was the choir tapeset he didn't use, instead using tape loops of Phil's voice.
That's why i tend to omit getting too technical, because most of the times i don't know, and while investigating i hardly find accurate information, so its a case of doing what this series asks for (answering the better live question) while making a careful choice of words to minimize mistakes. Anyways, all information is welcome in the comment sections, so thanks, now i know what DAW to pirate... jk.
