You've got to respect stand-ups, going through years of playing hell rooms, honing their craft, finding out which bits work and which bomb, learning how to deal with hecklers and win over tough crowds, until they eventually reach a point where venues will want to book them, initially as an opener, working their way up to hosting, and, if they stick at it, as a headliner. Then, there are people like this, who use Kickstarter to raise funds for hiring venues, so they can play to half empty 'safe space' rooms, paid for in advance by a few 'woke' donors, and call themselves professional comics, whereas in fact they're still at an open mic level. Shame 🔔.
