Dante's inferno was inspired from God Of War and God Of War was inspired from Devil Mary Cry So, IMHO, Dante's Inferno is to God Of War (Greek) what God Of War (Greek) is to Devil May Cry I say this because gameplaywise all the greek GoW games just copy pasted GoW1 mechanics throughout the entire Greek series unlike DMC which evolved from a RE hack and slash spin off to a beat em up legend while GoW (Greek) devolved into a walking sim GoW (Norse).

I won't have to say that Dante's inferno is decent game, but it needed to figure out its direction and its own style.
