Visit that place in winter. The day - only half a year, the rest time - is dark. The same story is on the opposite side of the planet. So, with one flight in half a year, you can have what you ask. The place where always darc. Actually it would be two places.

My wife is from Southern Norway. Her cousin is a GP that was hired a few years ago to come work all the way up north. North where this phenomenon occurs. He told me it was very weird the first year, with the sun never setting. While in the winter time the sun never rises and it's basically dark for 6 months. He said the first year was weird and kinda depressing. But now he is used to it and barely notices it anymore. He told me they all have these curtains in their bedrooms that completely blocks out the sun. So their bedrooms are dark when they go to sleep. It is strange.... But I guess it's the same as with all things. You'll get used to it eventually. But some people don't get used to it... According to him the highest suicide rate in Norway is up north, during the winter, when people have no sun for half a year....

@@Sjattuh i couldn't take no sun for 6 months. i saw a documentary on these northern countries and how they deal with it. they have many light festivals and use a lot of sun lamp therapies. it was a very interesting docu.

@@jaytotheell oh yeah he told me about that. I totally forgot. There are indeed a lot of festivals and parties with tons of artificial light present to try and cheer people up. But Norway is weird anyways man... It's an amazing and beautiful country, and if my wife didn't suffer so much from the cold I would definitely live there with her instead of south turkey where it's full blast summer 7-8 months a year... If you think no sun is bad listen to this... There are many villages in Norway that are basically cut off from the rest of the country 6 months a year. The snow piles up so high they can't remove it or get through. It would take a crazy amount of effort and since there are so many they just don't do it... Some of these villages are as small as 30-40 people. Can you imagine? Stuck in your village for 6 months with a small group of people? Freaky deaky... Those villages mainly reside on the many many fjords the have along the west coast so you would think you can get there by boat at least... Nope. The fjords tend to freeze cutting them off from that side as well. It's only by helicopter in case of an emergency they see other people. Add to this that alcohol is so expensive everyone brews their own moonshine plus they hunt moose and bears for meat... Eating the balls of a bear is a right of passage for a young man into adulthood. They are awesome people. Kind and helpful. But distant and not very warm because of the above. They'd always help you though, they just want to be left alone with their almost cult like habits... Then all the way up north is an area called Lapland. It covers the north of Norway, Sweden and Finland. This is where the moose and reindeer migrate all year around looking for food. These herds are usually followed by a minority group called the Sami. They were small people that more or less live like the Indians did when they still followed the Buffalo. This is a whole seperate culture with their own habits and customs again. Super kind people though, and freaking amazing Moose riders (they have races...). If you hop over to Finland is where things really start to get weird. 😊😘❤️ I'd highly advice anyone to take a (long) trip to those countries of you ever have the oppertunity. It'll be one of your best holidays ever... Just rob a bank before you go... Norway is the 4th richest country in the world and has the biggest governmental controlled investment fund in the world (its worth 100s of billions) and a low salary is 2500 (about 3000$) per month... Thats poverty over there.... Oh, and the last fun fact. Norway essentially is a hidden communism. We talk about China and Russia... But Norway's laws and regulations strongly borrow from and lean towards the same governmental structures based on Marx' communism.
