@@sqish_da_lish I visited there a few months back. I’m from nj. Planning to go out there as a junior transfer. I noticed though Riley’s seems to be the hot spot.

I would say there is a difference but in my opinion not by a lot.

@@Ankitsingh-mo4qs While I am a former Stan student, I will give you my thoughts on it. It's for NPCs who can't do math and don't want a job unless your in Princeton or Harvard. Business majors are bitches and they do not go on to become entrepreneurs. It's a 6 month corporate training program stretched out to 4 years. It's even less valuable than degrees that people make jokes about. It's the most entitled sounding degree out there just based on the title alone. It's for dudebro frat boys who have no need to work in life. A business degree only has two uses: 1) Getting your CPA (if you like accounting). 2) Connections and Networking. It's a degree for losers who want to give coffee to their boss and also fax papers. Quant Economics, Econometrics, and Quant Finance is way better if you want to work in a business setting because business is common sense. I've met an old man in his 40s working a dead end retail job who majored in this garbage.

@@Ankitsingh-mo4qs None, because it is about connections and not what you learn, but if I were to recommend a school in California, I would say UC Davis or any of the business schools that have more specialized business degrees like business analytics or management information systems as opposed to an MBA with a concentration in X since business is too general. The whole point of business school is to go to a top tier school and be in Sigma Sigma Phi. You can't be a manager without work experience. The whole point of being a manager is to show your employer that you have added value to the company you have worked for and are now ready to become a manager. This is why most engineers go back to get an MBA as opposed to an undergrad business degree.

I do not know anyone in that situation but I feel like if you end up living in school housing you’d still have the same experiences as a freshman. Your classes might just be a bit different. But congrats and best of luck!

I’m sure it does offer some type of aid, depending on what you need. I would recommend going to their website and looking at the financial aid website or even calling them to get more info. And yes they do have a wide variety of dorms. Good luck with everything!
