Bosch 18v 6 battery charger review
Bosch 18v multi charger review model GAL 18V6-80.
The GAL 18V6-80 offers continuous charging on the job or overnight in two cycles. The first cycle charges up to six batteries sequentially up to 80%. Cycle two then completes the process, charging all batteries to 100%. Thanks to an 8A charging current, ProCORE18V 8.0Ah batteries load up to 80% in just 42 minutes. Charge-level indicators with 5 LEDs on each charging interface display precise charging progress. With a Priority Start Button for each interface, the cycle can be interrupted to start charging the selected battery immediately.

Make a Port hole for your home DIY. Part 1
Переглядів 3803 роки тому
Today I'm making a port hole from MDF in my workshop. I'm making this so i can see thru my lounge wall to see when people are at my front door. Part 2 will be out soon First UA-cam video so take it easy on me haha Cheers for watching
Show how you made the sill. Thanks.
Wow! Excellent craftsmanship and a good explanation. Thank you for this video.
Bosch just released a new battery planer GHO 18V-26. Will you review it?
I just got mine delivered today after using my 18v for about 6 years , I must say the 40v is incredible, seems to plane so much better and effortlessly, I used a 2.5 battery and it wasn’t to big and was more than powerful enough ,
Thank you for your advice to buy one.I'm just a d I y do my to get one
What type of switch do you use to start the macine? Thx
This is the most powerful cordless planer in the world
Very fine quality, I love your shop. Cheers for posting this video!
Great video.Assume its all still going well?Lookedcat the Kapex 60 yesterday but only cuts up to 60 20 mm when turned to the right on compound cuts.Plus with a like for like kits its roughly €700 more expensive in Ireland than the Makita.
Thank you 😊
very informative ! ... I have almost exactly the same type handles on my Ikea drawers and cabinet doors, i'll be using your techniques to install them ... thanks so much for sharing cheers
Hey no worries, I appreciate the feedback. Goodluck
Are you Australian or British ? For the charger, Is it heavy? Is it loud?
Haha, na im a kiwi. It's not heavy at all considering. Noise wise it'd a tad noisy but still alpt quite than a makita 40v charger. Cheers
can you use 18V batteries on this tool? does it impact its power?
No, they won't fit
Hey Mate! Have you ever had a problem with the big Makita corded saw, cutting curved when in the sliding mode?
People been having issue with the slide rails being out you can adjust them which should fix your cut. Check out the 18x2 saw review at 'tools and stuff' he goes through it a bit
@chrislavers1439 Yeah, I ended up purchasing this saw in the video (LS002G), and it cuts perfectly straight, but I think the 10 - and 12 inch 40v saws have the same bowed cut problem because the carry the exact same design as the 18x2, and corded models.
Треугольник в комплекте для чего?
Is this the best planer in the world? It beats out the Mafell MHU 82
Nice video man!
Thanks for video, mine keeps flashing red, it’s ok to start then when I come back to it sometimes it hasn’t charged it’s just flashing red ! Can’t work out why ? Then other times it’s fine
Usually I get a red light when the battery is too hot. I throw them on the AC when that happens
I would never have a battery that heavy on that type of tool my 18 volt battery works fine.
Glad you made this review. I currently have the 10” version but it’s heavy. I plan on buying the 8 1/2” just because of your video.
Cheers mate, appreciate it. Goodluck
Same here I have the 10inch version to ...to say its heavy is understatement compared to my other saw a 10 inch corded dewalt ..and when you add the folding miter stand the weight starts to get out of hand if you had a job in a flat for example theres no way you could carry it up the stairs youd have to separate them even then the weight of this saw is massive ..I have to use a ramp to get it in the van ...love the saw but after 2 months of use the weight is starting to get to me ...apart from the weight the saw is fantastic ....the 300mm saw would be no good to anyone unless you were in a work shop environment as again the weight is to much for a every day saw ...
Mine died after 4 months of light use. Repaired it but wtf
How is the battery run time if I may ask?
Good review and I'm getting one .
If you want more xgt tools at a cheaper price and new buy them at amazon jp... they ship internationally. YOu will have to make a new amazon account. Let me know if you need more info about it
I just tried pulling up this planer in Jp and it’s 39,958. Converts to $294, same price as in the US.
@@JoshR512 it depends on some tools look at the US model of GSH04Z and compare with HS011GZ JP. its about a 110 dollar difference and thats before US tax (458.81JPincluding shipping - 469.73 amazon US price BEFORE tax)

Great video, very well made door frame! I only had to convert your measurements to imperial, but that’s my problem lol
I got the 12 inch 004 . I love the capacity of the cross cut but it’s so heavy kind of kill the need for a battery to make it portable because at that weight it’s not really portable…
Thank you so much for posting this. I've been trying to figure out how to do this cleanly for several weeks now. I really appreciate it! Do you think there's a way (like with painters tape) to route through edge banding? Or do you think it'd just be a splintery mess?
Answered my own question. Used some painters tape and the cut was nice and clean without having to remove any edge banding!

*Excellent video, sub ya 🤗🤗🤗*
Bought one yesterday at screwfix live in farnborough lovely saw i got batteries and charger coming tomorrow so she is ready to go Tuesday. I was the 36 volt ls714 which is a great mitre saw as well great vid as well👌
Hey, Nice vid. Logical steps great to see.
,a cool video keep up the great content.. Thank you…..
Very clearly explained.. Thanks dude.
Is the machine come with the battery and charger
Yep sure did cheers
Thanks for the review bud. Just picked one up and everything looks legit but theres a creaking sound when you drop the saw to the table, did you get that on yours or is it pretty quiet when you bring the saw down?
Hey Cheers for the comment. Mine seems pretty quite
Did you sort creaking noise
It is not really quiet.
Quite* (Comparatively)
Great review. Are you still happy with this 216mm version or do you miss (sometimes) a 260mm one like the 004 s?
Tilbyrger, it's still a really good saw. For the work I do 95 percent the saw is big enough as if it's not I just use another machine in the workshop. Cheers for watching 👍
Wish they made a 36v version of this
Hey I’m looking to get one of these mowers, but I’ve noticed some of that model have a small grass opening channel at back, like yours there (and small mulch plug) whereas others of the same model have a full width opening at the back (and a full width mulch plug). Do you know why there are two versions of this? Which is better?
Hi Brandon, yes I only noticed that once that once I purchased it. Which I was told they are specifically sold to mitre10 at the time. Personally I believe the one that is full width at the back would be better as grass can clog up a tad. And yes it stil is reasonably loud to use
👍👍🇧🇪

Thanks for the review. Informative info 👍🏻
I hear you fine.
Your wasting your time, we can't hear you.
We cannot hear you
Thank you! Does it has the same power as the cord version?
That's one of the best saw in the world brother!!
Dam that things sweet. Couldn’t help but think dam, I wouldn’t wanna get my fingers caught in that thing
Cool video Thanks for sharing
