    We make this head as a last resort for pulls greater than 300 ft (often underground) or raceways which have over 360 degrees. Often with larger wire, at least 10's or greater, and absolutely packed raceways (over 50%) fill where the half hitch method adds too great a diameter to the pull. It works, and to be fair, this works best with bigger wire. I've seen kellum grips fail, I've seen half hitch method fail; fingers and crimps are good too. This is the old school on the fly method when no other equipment is available for you.

    This method wouldn’t be accurate on big diameter tubes - 4 or 6 inch tubes. You need much wider tape than just a tape measure. Have you seen my video on You Tube?

    That's not a fish tape... Thats pulling string.. Also called jet line. But the method was helpful

    Striping wires: Putting stripes on them. Stripping wires: removing the covering from them. The difference is big!
