The main reason why the oilfund was created because 'jappetiden' during the 80s because we invested everything within Norway when the oilprices did going from low prices too high prices in a short period of time that created a boom of investment in Norway that lead into low unemployment, and boom of both inflation and higher salaries, but when the prices did get smashed during late 80s everything flipped 180. It went too higher unemployment, lower salaries and massive Unstability all over the country because of it. So the government had too be making some changed too avoid this would be happending again because when the lower prices of oil was a fact that was serious issue for our economy too and couldn't have that everytime the oilprice would go up or down that would have this massive effect on the economy, that's why we had the oilfund invest in foregin countriy instead and also be making even more profitable fund because it's more money outside Norway then it is within Norway. And in that way we could avoid the worse affects of these price changes, but we wasn't fully protected because we didn't have the fiscal rule either too begin with. That was something Jens Stoltenberg was thinking about that would protect our economy even further. The oilfund can't invest within Norway this is mainly reason we don't have any corruption because the oilfund. So now we are just allowed too take out what the fiscal rule are saying at currently this year 2024 it is saying we can take out 3% of the oilfund. We did just take out 2,7% from 1th January and already the government can be spending more money and still keep it within the rule, but they won't because that could overheat our economy. Because the size of the oilfund i bet they have too cut the fiscal rule once again in 2025 because we had at top 5% but if we would be taken out 5% that would be about 923 milliarder kroner or about $88 billion but for our little economy that would defintly overheat the economy, so we had too be cut it too 4% now 3% and most likely 2.5% next year (perhaps even more cuts in percentage) too not overheat the economy. So now we have some luxury problems there we have too be carefully too not taken out too much money and we do also know that the oilfund will having less growth in the future, so it's just a good thing for us and the generations in the future that we cut it now so we can keep up with the standards for us and the future generations. Something else i wan't too mention about the oilfund is that even with oil prices low as $30 now it won't hurt our economy anymore because the oilfund are protecting us against the fall. We are getting much money in dividends, interest of money we have borrowed out too other countries and alot more. We ain't depended on the oil price anymore. Norway are soon about $1,8 trillions. The great thing about the oilfund is that when a stock are going down they are buying. Seeing it in every financly crisis and making alot of profits by these crisis, because usually they are coming back when the times are better and if not we are most likely having one of the stocks who will becoming top 10 if someone falls so that make it so stable because it invest in so many countries and so many different stocks that won't hurt our oilfund very much no matter what happends.
