Been carrying mine for years still going strong
Leaves a Mar on the finish side?
Hey nice project! When I sew zippers like that I like to put the slider on and zip it all the way off the other side so it's completely closed and then install it again. That way you can place the slider in the middle out of the way and both ends will be closed when you sew across them.
hi where do you get your logo tags from? that sail rite hot knife works pretty good if you haven't bought one yet
If I recall correctly I got the labels from customlabels4u.com I have looked at the hot knife but haven’t picked it up yet. I’d like to give it a try.
Not bad, turned out pretty good
D stands for denier.
Another advantage of a mesh pouch is that you can see what it contains without opening it. Thanks for the video.
Excellent point! Thanks for watching!
After I filmed and edited this video I realized I should’ve shot this in landscape….Sorry! I’ll get it right next time!
I'm impressed with the machine
Thanks! It’s a Consew 206. It’s been a workhorse!
Just found you- and gotta say great vid- thanks for putting it out there! Subscribed!
Thanks! I have some new stuff in the works, I hope to be able to share more videos soon.
Thanks for posting this! Subscribed! Well done video, looking forward to more. I love my Sailrite, and am always looking for cool stuff to make.
are you able to make binding strips that are thin enough thx
Sorry I missed your comment. Yes, it will skive down thin enough to make binding strips. No problem at all.
Can it skive without leaving marks on finished side?
What binder do u use
This is an older video and at that time I was using the swing away binder from Sailrite. I have since upgraded to a right angle binder from KHSEW.
Awesome
Very satisfying! Great job!
Thanks! 👊
Can you make me a leather bathing suit?
🤣🤣
nice work, thanks for sharing
Absolutely! Thanks for watching. I hope to start making a lot more content once I get moved into my new studio space. Stay tuned!

I have a question about heat application to your cordura. Do you notice a shrinkage in your pattern size after you apply the heat transfer? I make bags and am wondering if the cordura will shrink when fused to interfacing
Brian S I never noticed any shrinkage, maybe that’s because I had already had two layers sewn together prior to heat pressing? Not sure. I’ve done this method with small EDC bags as well with no issue. Are you having shrinkage problems?
🔥🔥
What vinyl cutter do you use?
Mike Kollross It is a US cutter SC series. 28 inch if I’m remembering correctly.
