Excellent!!! Short simple and to the point without a lot of extra over explaining 💯‼️
How do you make your strength calls? Does your defensive personnel play boundary/field positions, left/right positions, or based on some formation strength?
We use (1-3-5 left ) (2-4-6 right) gaps! 10-20-30 Qb,Tb,FB Ex: 32 blast! (3)FB (2)gab right center! Now 16 option 28 rodeo! Guess that play?
v helpful ty
Thanks man, this will come in handy when I see Troy Polamalu lined up in the C gap
Ruined Pat Mcafee’s life 😂
Against a 4-4 defense how is this blocked
Great video.
Great explanation!
You look a lot like bear grills
Nice Job. This is the fundamental blitz that is run at every level from NFL to Middle School.
Thanks man this helped a lot I got conditioning in an hour soooo yeah

Empty pass protection?
Is this clinic package still available for purchase? Can't find any info anywhere in regards to contacting Chalktalk if it still exists. thx
Quick pop pass slant/ skinny post to the Y PLAYER /TE WORKS? Any crossing combos work as well.
I like it! May I ask who the coach is presenting and where does he coach.
Doug Socha...Head Football Coach at Keiser University in West Palm Beach, FL.
this did not help
He looks like Adam standler
FDHS News mama said football for the devil
I thought he was Adam Sandler
This dude is a dumb ass
to play devils advocate .. in your 3x1 blitz I think that is extremely beatable if the offensive teams runs a R.P.O (run/pass option) . Say they show power your mike backer has to respect that and come up . In turn the inside receiver runs a vert read while the 2 receiver runs the safety out. It gives him a one on one with the fs coming over late. Most coaches put their quick guys inside so in my opinion that is a TD for the offense.
You are actually wrong and several levels.
@@joshuaaldrin5663 that was very insightful thank you for all that information and discussion on why it’s wrong

Nice stuff....will use this year !
Is there any way to still buy this clinic?
How would you defend this against a trips formation?
The first read should be the outside vertical by #1 playside. You are leaving points on the board if the defense doesn't put over the top leverage on that route from a corner or safety and the QB has been trained to purposely not get eyes on it as soon as he has the ball in his hands. You should always make the defense stack on top of vertical routes and be prepared to throw it if they don't. How do you feel as a coach when your QB is working the backside hitch while the defense has blown the coverage on the vertical route? Hopefully you feel like revisiting how you teach progressions. As a general rule you should look to vertical routes (fade, seam, post, corner) first, then to intermediate and underneath routes, and you should generally look to hit inside breaking routes before looking to hit outside breaking routes because you should be trying to take advantage of the shorter throw inside before you are forced to throw outside to the sidelines. You should. Generally speaking, make the defense stack on top of verticals and establish inside leverage before you start throwing to the flat, be it a hitch or flare out/swing.
is the even holes on the right side (2 4 6 ) and odd on the left ( 1 3 5) outdated?
R Lance not at all, this is wrong, gaps are on Defense and holes are offense
Thank you. I play middle school and this year I will be playing full back
Of course defenses can't stop EVERYTHING, but I feel like that'd be really susceptible to the speed option.
The QB should have his back to the LOS so that his voice carries away from the defense.
Respectfully coach, if that RE is head up or outside, he is the option man. Guard will try for the ILB, tackle the OLB. Most high school OLBs won't be fast enough to read & react that fast to squeeze down when he reads mesh. If he can, great! But, if he jumps the mesh, bubble screen will be open all day. Only way he can cover both is if the ball is on the boundary, as it's a shorter apex. Even at that you still need a great athlete there. How I'd coach the offense: No matter the option end technique, if the OLB is out of the box, the read is the end. Guard - ILB, Tackle - cut off OLB if he scrapes across. Slot crack backs on the OLB and QB keeps. Taking the OLB out of the box makes it a 3-2. They wouldn't be the option keys. If you bring them into the box, passing is open all day unless you man up the 2 safeties and corners. It all comes down to 1 v 1 blocks of course. Nothing works unless the players execute!
coach interested in you 34 spill tech. was hoping to touch base with you on it.
Great video, coach. What hs/college program do you coach for?
