JUNO-106 FACTORY PRESETS (BANK A) - Soundset/Preset Pack For The Behringer DeepMind 12/6
PURCHASE HERE: willmikkelsonaudio.com/synth-presets
*Bank B Preset Pack Coming Soon!*
The Legendary Roland Juno-106 came with 64 Factory presets in Bank A and 64 presets in Bank B. These presets ranged from standard orchestral sounds, rich wide pads, gorgeous analog acoustic and electric piano sounds, classic synth stabs and horns, booming 80's bass sounds, and even to quirky sound effects. Many of these presets became staple sounds in countless 80's hits and continue to be used in hit songs today.
I believe the Behringer DeepMind collection of synths absolutely nails the sound and voice architecture of the original Juno line of synths. This opened up a perfect opportunity to re-create the original Juno presets for this modern day synth that can do what all the old Junos can and much more (and without breaking every few months I might add!).
In this preset pack I have painstakingly re-created all 64 original Juno-106 presets in Bank A. The Bank A presets contain most of the most famous Juno preset sounds and cover the entire range of classic 80's synth sounds.
Because of the slight differences in the ranges of the sliders on the Deepmind compared to an original Juno-106 I took considerable time tweaking each preset by ear until they were nearly indistinguishable from the Original. Occasionally the onboard EQ had to be used to match the bass responses. The onboard chorus effect on the DeepMind was used to match both the Chorus I and Chorus II modes on the Juno-106. For the Chorus I effect I used a rate of .2Hz and for the Chorus II effect I used a rate of .6Hz.
If you would like to hear for yourself how close I was able to get here is a great page with audio samples of every Juno-106 preset to compare: www.synthmania.com/juno-106.htm
When you purchase you will receive a download link to a SysEx file and instructions on how to load it into your DeepMind Synth.
Enjoy and let me know how you like the presets!

you my pimp
Did you ever do bank B?
Thinking I need to get my hands on a DM12!
how’s it looking for Bank B my man?? of all the 106 “presets” out there for DM6/12, yours are by far the most authentic feeling/sounding
Jorb has posted both of them for free
Heck yeaaa, that’s my wallpaper
Great video wonderfull patches nice synth. I have a juno-1 but that one is a beast
Been more than a year, relase bank B !!!!
Awesome, wonder if i should get a DM. Surely i can get those in a soft synth, can't I? Nice progression @16:23, is it a song? By the way, would you recommend i get the desktop vs key?
Nice effort. But you better can buy the DCO-106 Vst from Cherry Audio. Costs only 21 Euros and sounds as good as this synth. You don't even hear a difference from an old vintage 106.
😂
hey dude are the sounds in this video generated from the deepmind or juno ?
Nice. Ideally I’d have my old 106 that I sold ten years ago but this makes me feel good about ordering the deepmind. Great stuff.
I'll definitely purchase if I get the 12.... I'm thinking about selling my Roland JD 800 and buying several Behringers....
are you insane??? keep the JD and wait. Behringer Gear is always cheap on eBay. good as new.
@@errorkit I'd actually like to get the Jupiter X
@@ryananthony4840 ok, do what you wanna do, but try the X first for a Month and dont sell your JD-800 - Keep it as Investment.
If you still got jd800, check out the new jd800 vst from roland. Seems well made altough generally i havent enjoyed roland vsts activation system
Yo bro these are insane. You can get these on the DM6 yeah? I’m getting mine in a week, so I’ll defs buy these
Do they work on dm6 then?
Patches from the 12 always work on the 6. Just check the use of voice doubling since the dm6 has only 6 voices instead of 12. If a patch that was made on the dm12 has voice doubling, it means that the dm6 can only play 3 voices at once. Usually it’s not a huge problem and you can switch voice doubling off it bothers you too much.
Beautiful patches, don't own the DM12 anymore had to sell it to survive at the time but your patches make me want to get it again great synth.
Great recreations! Did you add velocity sensitivity and wheel-mods?
Good question.....!!! 😳🤔🤔
I need this beatiful patches ♡ please
Impressive! Unique and fabulous work!
These are great man! Make me miss my Juno 106... can't wait for the 2nd bank and hope you do some Juno 60 sounds as well!!!
Wow! I want this patches, tell me how please.
Hi ! impressive work ! Is it possible to buy it without credit card ? Have you got any link showing how to load it on the DP12? Thanks.
Hows the deepmind keep up with high Tier anolog synths?
@Luke interesting. most i talked to really like it
@@levijessegonzalez3629 I love mine. I can't complain especially since I bought used in mint condition with a TSA case for only $500 with these presets installed and then some. It was a definite steal.
@@georgegeez8708 you lucky
@@levijessegonzalez3629 Yeah I got lucky. But I do find them for that price up to about $650. Check out Reverb. That's where I got mine. Also Craigslist. All depends where you live. I travelled to NY to get mine.
Good choon!
will this work on the dM 6?
I have a dumb question: I’m new to this module. Can I save the factory presets so I don’t lose them if I load yours? Haven’t really messed with any software yet.
I have the same question
not a dumb Q, you can use the editor from Behringer or a SySex program like Midi-Ox or so to back them up . If you somehow lost your factory presets you can get them from behringer or just give a Holler . No worries, enough Synth enthousiast around to help you out. keep save
They sound great! I've just purchased and for the life of me can't get them to install on my Deepmind 12. Has anyone found any good tutorials?
deepmind app, charge your sysex to one column (pc) and then copy to the other column (synth)
Thanks for purchasing Josh! And do you have a Mac or PC?
Will Mikkelson Audio thanks Will I figured it out, I needed to upgrade the firmware on my Deepmind. The presets sounds great!
@@willmikkelsonaudio4142 How about instructions for Mac?
Do you have a text list of the sounds?
Hey Seth! If you click on the Synthmania link in the description there is a list of all the sounds!
Nice!!! I'll definitely be buying this! I won't be expecting a discount, I'll gladly pay full price :P
Awesome! I appreciate the support :) let me know how you like them!
I am impressed! 🖒🖒 I am looking forward to your emulations of the Juno 106 presets from Bank B (and a nice discount for purchasing Banks A and B as a bundle...hint hint...lol 😉) 😎 Two quick questions: 1. Into what bank in the DeepMind will this preset package load? 2.Besides the Juno 106 in this preset package, what other vintage Roland synthesizers do you plan to emulate with the Behringer DeepMind?
Haha I appreciate that man!! Bank B set will certainly be coming soon and I think there’s a good possibility of a combined discount ;)
It will load into the last Bank in the Behringer Deepmind. Right now I am working on The bank B preset pack, and after that I plan on doing some preset packs that have a variety of classic synth sounds as well as sounds from specific bands/songs!
