Tillage VS Herbicide Treatment for Weed Control in Food Plots
Why would anyone spray their food plot for animals they intend to eat with poison does anyone have a brain anymore if you till to break up the soil and plant a cover you shouldn't have many weeds to worry about competing with
thank you for the real world safety tips. could save a life some day
thanks!
Thanks for the video. How far do you travel to provide for your services? I am in Thomson GA.
We primarily serve West Georgia and East Alabama. Thomson would be too far for us to travel, but thank you for the inquiry!
How long did this take you to do?
Google ExactEmerge setup. Tool bar should be level and 20” off the ground. Goal is to get parallel arms horizontal.
You should get a bigger machine
Thanks for the video. What size banjo quick connects did you use? I have a 6500c roller pump also 3:32
I think they are 3/4 but I’d have to double check that.
Cleth and butyrac 200
😍
Where did you get the parts for your manifold for the sprayer?
You should be able to get them at any tractor supply or hardware store that sells plumbing
About how long does it take to change from the root rake to the standard blade on the Dozer?
Agree with first comment about frame level with the ground, your parallel arms should be parallel to the ground when planting. Lengthen that top link between the tractor and planter and everything will work better.
make a follow up video next time man come on
Looks really good I got a estimate today to clean up the after math on my 22 acres he wanted 30 k to remove all the stumps and the left over tops
That’s price is in line with what it should cost.
Where did you find the long shiny metal piece on top of the roller pump? I need one.
It actually came with the pump. I believe I got it from tractor supply.
How do I contact you for a south Alabama consultation?
I apologize I just saw this comment. You can call or message me at 706-300-1016.
Excellent idea, thanks for the great tip!
Save your money and buy a fecon bull head, Gyrotrac has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever seen; me and the dealer I bought it from have made numerous calls to the company and left voicemails with no one calling back. So far I’ve lost 23,000 dollars because of the business that I have lost being down. The pulleys for the belt were misaligned and have eaten 2 belts worth 600 dollars. It can be a great machine when I works but the customer service is piss poor.
Beautiful work. Great job. I wish you were in NH. I'd hire you to clear some field areas for me.
How many PSI for airbag?
Just commenting for the algorithms. This information is vital to climbing , whether a tree or rock face. I'm glad to see guys taking the time to try and let folks know. Redundancy in our systems is extremely important and should be practiced just like everything else.
Broadcast and drag
Too far from the microphone. Can't hear any of it
What do you charge for a project like this and how many acres?
How did the corn do.... can't find a follow up video
It did well. It produced 3-4 grain heads per stalk and was about 6 feet tall. I didn’t make a follow up video for the corn.
Hi. You used herbicide?
The first thing they teach us farmers is that the top of your main tube should be level with the ground. Then the seed box runs level and all of the discs and wheels contact the ground correctly.
Nice!
balesh.b.hosur
Audio low at first (use close caption) then reverts normal after 1min
Audio is too low.
Nice machine even though couldn't see most of what u were doing.
Don’t get discouraged, a day or 2 more and you’ll be a pro. 👍👍👏🏻👏🏻
Real nice vid
wow I love the 135 the gyro seems to do a good job
Whitetails up Check out Biggs planter LLC ON YOU TUBE
The whole quick connect nonsense is so annoying. I recently bought a few of these (sprinklers, hoses etc) and they given you part of it for free but not the main one which force you to go buy the other...
I'd love a video on how you built that spray rig!
Can you share with me how you set up your air compressor down-pressure unit on the planter? Thank you, Patrick Wolf
Fortunately for it came on the planter, and it was already set up. I wouldn’t know how to add the airbag system to it from scratch. If you get one with it attached it’s really a trial and error process to figure out what setting works best. The setting will also vary based on soil conditions and planting depth
Super good detailed info here! 👍🏻
Looking good! Put a GoPro on the dozer👍🏻 that’d be cool
That’s a great idea!
I bought 60 acres grownup, cutover hunting land in Ga. a little over 2 years ago for $1,650 per acre. Less than a year after buying it, same cutover land across the road from me sold for $2,500 per acre. It’s excellent hunting land. I applied with state to replant with long leaf pines. State will pay for most of cost to replant.
How much did that planter cost and what model
I bought it off a local guy who bought it new from up north and used it for one season. It’s a handmade planter using John Deere 7000 parts. Same adjustment principles will apply to a JD 7000.
I believe I paid $3,000 for it
@@buckhavenlandsolutions539 thanks
Can a two wheel 20 hp tractor pull the two row no till John Deree planter?
Good luck they did not honor the warranty with mine!!!
Good video! FYI, with headphones on and volume on max I had a hard time hearing.
Cultipackers are only to ferm seeds in soil, not till or smooth !

Thanks. But could have been a 3 min video.
Thanks
Good tip Bradley! I'm curious . . . do you clean out and lubricate the pump after every use or only at the end of the season? I use my sprayer as a remote watering source (with hand wand) and 95% of the time there is no chemical at all in the tank - just water. This my first year using the Ag Spray 55 gallon boomless pump / spray rig and I plan to detach the HYPRO pump at the end of the season, lubricate it well, then bring it indoors to prevent freezing. Your thoughts?
I clean mine after each use and then fill it up with antifreeze and store it in the barn. It’s a pain in the butt if your using it multiple days in a row, but glyphosate is really rough on those iron pumps. I lubricate it after removing the antifreeze prior to use. I think as long as you are not running a lot of Glyphosate through it you will be fine to only remove it at the end of the season as long as you keep it lubricated.
