John deere dozer track speed sensors
How do you get the sensors out
Looking for transmission pressure sensor john deer 550j can't find it
I have one that the dealer had for a year,it didn't get fixed, when you put it in forward or reverse it will take off steering on its own one way or the other by itself,if it's decided to ro right let's say and you hold left till the machine makes a full circle it will now operate corectly
gratulacje for your video!!........these sensors are very sensitive and need to be correctly adjusted during assembly!! to test these sensors, we can make a small electronic circuit, use an oscilloscope, or a digital multimeter to check the outputs, the 2 channels!! and, can be replaced by other danfos sauer models!!......and super hugs for alls youtubers friends...welcome in Brasil!! tanks!! and good work!!
Any way we could talk personally ? Havin a code issue “left mtr spd sensor fault”
Where did you get the lights?
Amazon
Master peice
Sensor flat side parallel with track motor meaning 12 o'clock I assume
Parallel to the drive motor
Got a 650 J with R track speed sensor open. Thanks for showing me where it is likely located. Sincerely
Hi Sir My 650h was working fine suddenly don't move forward or backwards starts fine what should i do
I have a 550 h that is losing ground to speed sensor what I. Need to do
A new sensor would be best
He don’t says if that works
It works
Thanks, I actually found this looking for info for a Cat D3g LGP
Glad I could help!
Olá, meu 700j não está trocando as velocidades, e acusando no painel sensor de velocidade, porém aqui no Brasil custa $ 2.000 na jhondeere... pode indicar aonde posso comprar o sensor?
I do have one question, you mentioned the third speed sensor under the floorboard. Can you show me where exactly that third sensor is located?
Its down on the left side of the transmission. You cant hardly see it you have to feel for it
Only the early H models will have the 3rd speed sensor, the later ones get engine speed from the ECU.
That is super tight! Love the gauges and the lights! Got the same welder with every panel covered with rust but it’s the best welder ever made.
How much would you sell it for? @jerodlyford10
Your just a massy hater 😅, i have the same model no issues what so ever. They told u it was an emissions problem, you can blam the government for that, but massey would have fixed it and you would have been flying up hills. Should have gave massey a chance to fix it
I actually have 2 others masseys that have never had an issue. But when I go to the local dealer and see all the ones that have burnt or the ones that arw being worked on. I glad I didn't purchase this model
@@royalefarms7637 i didnt realize you were doing a 5710, mine is a 4710. Its a 3 cylinder, could be a better engine idk. I would think that the 4 cylinder in the 5710 would be a better engine but you never know
I could also use some help I have a 750c. The back up alarm beeps when I turn key on, speed setting shows up as two dashs in instrument panel and F N R light will not flash when park brake or forward reverse shifter is moved.
Mine would do that sometimes. The batteries are getting a little weak
@@royalefarms7637 would that cause Trans controller to shut down? They read roughly 23.5volt machine off 25.2 on
I couldn't tell you for sure. It could be a number of things with these pieces of shits. Mine would act up all the time usually when it first starts the day after that it seemed fine. I would let it run awhile turn it off then started it back an that would usually fix it
@@royalefarms7637 I've been checking wiring ima getting some continuity to ground off the fuse block and 2 purple wires from Trans controller to monitor only when I pluck the dash panel in....? And the wires coming off the the left motor pcp pilot all 4 have continuity to ground only on left motor. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you
Id trace the wires back and look for a bad spot it could be the control joystick
Hello, I was wondering if you’d know anything about my 450j bull dozer’s accelerator button. It has stopped working, it will accelerate for about forty seconds then stop accelerating. Would you know anything?
Thanks for sharing this video, I have a 650H that starting mis-tracking on startup, I would had to fool it by watching which track moves first and start to brake that side until other track caught up and they it would synchronize, once it does that no issues until next restart. Very daunting task when you are trying to unload off trailer. Code was for right speed sensor and I was told that it might need to be adjusted a few degrees and then do calibration, but I've sat on that for a while now, have not tried, now after watching your video, thinking I will try to adjust without calibration and see if mistrack goes away after small adjustment. Thanks again.
Do not do a calibration. I made that mistake and had all kinds of codes
Great video!
How is working now? I'm looking to buy one
It got sent back to agco from the dealer. apparently it had emission issues. I went with another newholland
Update, the code ended up being 667, which was the forward and reverse module under the joy stick. There are two modules and they are the same. I didn’t know how to test it, so I figured swapping them would then Transfer the problem to right and left turn. Well it ended up just being loose linkage. Also I had a bad relay (the dozer would not move) fixed it, then I got the 667 error. Anyway great video, and much appreciated.
Thank you for the video, have a 750c and it will move forward and right and left, but soon as I reverse I get a code and the transmission locks me out. I’m going to try the speed sensors. I did notice when I check the track motor controls in the rear right above the speed sensors one was dry and the other had oil in it. I can’t remember how to read the codes, it’s been a while. Again thank you, I appreciate your video as it gave me some direction.
Did you ever get the problem fix? I am having the same issue.
Thank you for your video and sharing!! The jd and all mechanics don't want to help for jack! Currently working on my 750c, figuring out for myself and a backyard mechanic. Instantly found an issue in the relay, the dozer wouldn't go in to gear. Looking at possible moisture in the solenoid tomorrow,, the dozer moved for 20 ' and stopped. Really tired of jd and diesel mechanics being so tight lipped. Tha KS again for sharing, it was a very good video
Working on my 750c right now. Getting code F627. Machine keeps slowing down left track and speeding up right track erratically.
Just bought a MF 5713sl and that's disappointing on the road, won't go up hills any faster than my 95hp MF 5455!!
I have been cutting and soldering plug wired for years I had no clue it unscrewed thanks for showing that

Nice Vid, what coil did you use? I want to upgrade mine :)
Best I remember it was out of an 039. Haven't had a bit of trouble
Hi GuysI I have JD 450H Dozer start spinning by itself, just turn in left direction uncontrolably. I have to stop machine turn off engine, start again , sometime drive strait few min and start spinning to left again. Anybody had this problem Thanks
Track speed sensor
Exact same problem on a 650H, I literally disconnected both track speed sensors and it stopped doing it, but no clue what those sensors are for, so not sure if there would be any consequence if removed
Mine is doing same thing what fixed yours
Speed sensor
Copy that the dealer put new ones in but then said it had a bad edc.
I’ve got some questions
Maybe I can help
Could I give you my number and call me
I would not advise you to put your number in the comments would you happen to have an email
Mine’s top speed is 24.9mph on flat or downhill but I do have to go down to hi 5th on climbing hills. I can live with it as I really enjoy the extras it does do. After all I didn’t buy it to be a race car.
The tractor had emission issues and was sent back to agco
I'm in the same boat. 450H. F372. FLASHING SERVIS CODE on dash. Anyone know how to reset the computer so the light goes away on the dash?
And it always goes to the right when walking machine
Right side track speed sensor. Do Not try to recalibrate
Thank u for the video and reply 🙂. Also flashing F3J4 F3N1 F3M1 F3M4 F3N4 codes as well. Wonder how to reset🤔. I will not calibrate. Thanks again for your advice
Most of those will be from the speed sensor to clear the codes disconnect both battery terminals. John deere won't tell you shit
@@royalefarms7637 thank u so much. I will give it a try
Bad as so this let's it Rev higher
Very nice. Works great. I have one coming from Stihl. Listed as "out of stock" currently. If it doesn't come back into stock here shortly, I will try my hand at making one. I have a homemade trailer that I haul most of my wood in and reaching some of the pieces will be a whole lot easier with that tool. Thanks for sharing. New subscriber here.
So I’m kind of in the same boat, I’ve got fault F382 (right tract speed sensor) that don’t want to give me any help they tell me to bring it in and I don’t want to. Is this really a big deal?
Its hard to say but I'd start with the sensor on the drive motor what ever you do. Do not try to recalibrate the machine
Saw rips , Nice job! Just got a 0000 400 1300 unlimited coil suppose to fit a variety of saws and plan to use it on my 461 build. Hope it turns out as good as yours! Thanks for sharing.
I have a 650H code saying speed control sensor fault. It wont move until I put the speed on 3 or full open. The dealer says I need the shift solenoid. This little pigtail is $1200 from John Deere. Im not convined this is the problem. Do you have any suggestions?
Id start with the speed sensor on the hydraulic pump take note of how the sensor is positioned when you take it out. What ever you do. Do not try to calibrate the dozer
@@royalefarms7637 Thank you
Well what you think of the coil mod after one year? I've heard the unlimited coil is not as advanced timing wise, and when you change to unlimited you actually retard the timing by doing so..I'm on the fence with my limited 461R should I or shouldn't I...
What coil did u use u got my curiosity lol.
It was out of an 039
I believe a coil out of a ms361 is unlimited as well.
that's a nice pickaroon. i've never used one to be honest, but I may have to make one. just seeing how you can pull the wood down the box to unload give me pause to think it's a good idea. I cut and burn about 10 cords a year and anything that saves effort is well worth it. how long is the spike on there? i've got some rebar I think I could use...
Thank you. Yeah it's just something I made with what I had on hand just to see how it works with intentions of making a better one that was 3 years ago lol.
I posted ya over to Buckin’s channel. I prefer a pickaroon and an 8 pound maul myself.
Nice job, and a great all around saw!
Thank you. Yeah not bad for a 20$ saw
What are the measurements??
