Hitler says there's no good mountain biking in Southwest Florida
Those were the only bikes available back in the mid to late fifties . that's all we knew and could afford . push the bike uphill and coast down . i rode my bike home from school one super hot day in the pasadena foothills and got so overheated i passed, out on somebody's lawn . woke up and continued on 😂
great video. it takes way more balls to ride a coaster brake klunker than a full suspension mtb. 😂
Love the bike
Nice 😂😊
Wow kylo Ren 👍🏻👍🏻
😂😂😂😂
"That is the way".

can you tell a big difference in the drag brake?
Didn’t test it but I’m betting it’s stronger.
👍👍🔥🔥💪💪
Aww- she was so old. Love ya Sassy. Thank you for being a part of our lives and bringing Trouble and Bear into this world 💙 Ima probably do an art tribute to them all now. Hope you guys are doing well
That would be so sweet! Thanks for your sweet words.
This whole thing has inspired me: I have a walmart bike. I had planned on seeing just how gonzo I could go with it. Instead 'Huh.... kickshift sounds nice. I don't go down anything Gonzo, and it just plain feels right given I've got a cruiser.' Gonna take awhile since low income and I want to do this with a sturdy rim.
I just dropped my video of the Klunker Challenge, part 2.
This Clunker Challenge was one of the most fun things I have watched in a while. So glad you posted some footage.
How did I miss this? Thanks for posting! Such a fun day.
You’re welcome! Thanks for putting down tracks for this to happen!
Awesome 👍
can't wait to see part 2 after you guys customized your bikes
We had so much fun, I WANNA GO AGAIN!
Me too!
Let's be honest, it can be fun but seems like costal breaks are a pain going down, having not to much of brake control knees and calfs getting to much beating same as armstrings and legs with all excessive vibrations . I'm ok with Single speed but at least some mods can make it more fun for more occasionally rides. What are the next modifications?
This was a journey back in time to the origins of mountain biking to understand what those riders experienced. Most who did this ride aren’t going to change the bike much for the next one. The mods I have done or planning are: Smaller front chainring Cooling fins on coaster brake hub Quick release seatpost bolt Spring-loaded saddle Oversized tires Front disc or v-brake Short travel suspension fork Grippier pedals Cast aluminum seatpost
@@akkdm1 love to know what brakes you end up fitting.
I bought a 27.5” bike from Walmart with cable discs and a cheap-o suspension fork. We’ll see if it lasts the entire ride in Moab. It’s a little primitive. I also put a spring loaded saddle on. I’ll probably do a follow up video once all the mods are complete.
@@akkdm1 thanks for the info! Looking forward to seeing the video if you do one
Putting on a front brake has made a huge difference in real trail rideability. I take mine out with beginner riders to help equalize things and help me not get them in over their head (too much). My coaster brake is getting pretty shot even after a few regreasings. I'm hoping to rebuild the rear wheel with something more durable - Sturmey Archer or Shimano.
I believe in you.
It was an awesome fun weekend!
what a beautiful baby
YAY! Thank you so much for recording this!!! (I was the Snake Eyes :) )
DANQUISH S Cool! You did a great job! He probably wouldn’t have agreed to do it without you! He’s a super cool guy.
@@akkdm1 Definitely a highly energetic and exciting panel. I wish we had more time!!! hahaha.
@@GearHead4G63 This is a great video of the Han Solo request! DANQUISH S, I have a shorter video with a different view if you care to check it out. Awesome costume btw! What were you going to ask Ray?
Pyrat Wesly I would love to see your clip!
