Totally depends on the individual! I’d you’re into skiing and winter sports, or spring when all of the flowers are in bloom… or Summer when they have the outdoor activities in full swing. They really have stuff for year round entertainment so it’s a preference thing!

Haha it did NOT feel empty! This was the day before Christmas Eve! Most times we’ve gone it’s paaacked.

It’s such a beautiful area! I’ve gotta get there myself when it’s all decked out in holiday garb.

There’s quite a bit to do, but most things are going to be a fifteen plus minute drive depending on your interests. (typical of our small towns in NH!) Some notable spots are the Outlets in Tilton, (20 minute drive) Pirates Cove Mini Golf in Winnesquam, (11 minute drive) Mt Washington Cruises (half hour drive) at Weirs Beach, Fun Spot (half hour drive)

And the drive up the hill from Tilton is easy access, nice big signs directing you the right way!

@@merciadahoraI also highly recommend Whale’s Tale Waterpark in Lincoln (about an hour north) if you like waterparks!! It was my favorite one to go to as a kid!

I’m not gonna lie - I had to look, I remember the stairs for the newer half where the suites are but I don’t recall stairs for the main lobby area - however for fire safety purposes I have to imagine they do have them somewhere. Which would be key to find since the elevator in the main hotel lobby area does have elevators but they get incredibly backed up. Thank you so much! You do not need to be staying there to walk and enjoy all that the village has to offer! We were day guests. There is a charge for tubing but all visitors are welcomed to partake in the activities.

The Vanderbilts and others like them were extremely philanthropic with their money. They built many many hospitals and the like, including orphanages. They also employed thousands of people. Not perfect by any means, but don't think they just hoarded their money.

I’d say there’s probably three pretty prime places for that - across the road in Trinidad (buildings 34/35) or either the further spot in Jamaica (43-41) or Aruba (55/56) The Aruba section puts you closest to the Riveria Skyliner while the other two spots put you by Caribbean Beach’s Skyliner stop.

It will put you further away from the main check in area, but will be quieter/skyliner prime spots.

You’ll have a great time! If you’re sensitive to loud noises and chlorine though definitely take some Tylenol ahead to be proactive. The sound echos extensively in the water park!

Thank you so much for your comments Amber-Kate! We love French Quarter and the atmosphere. You will have a fabulous time! Coronado was our first Disney trip as a family so we love there too - you can’t go wrong with either. But French Quarter is by far more intimate than Coronado. One thing I didn’t mention in the video is the Scat Cat Lounge; it was closed at the time of recording - but it’s right outside the beignet shop and you can enjoy live music etc. Definitely check it out if you’ve got the time!
