    Shalom- wrong, wrong, wrong. I admire your devotion to Torah, but Torah-observant is not Biblical in this age. Paul made it very clear if one tries to obey one part of Torah he is obligated to keep all of Torah. Then it is all of works and not grace. We can not obey Torah, but need the sacrifice of Yeshua. It is by grace alone that no flesh will ever glory in His presence. I am NOT implying that Torah is bad. May it never be! (Psalm 119I. know that this is an area that we must agree to disagree, but I do love you as a brother.

    • @DerechHaYasharMinistries
      @DerechHaYasharMinistries 2 місяці тому

      I appreciate your comments. Thanks for joining in. However, we may have to agree to disagree on this one. But I will give my clarification on one important point. Salvation is by faith through grace (Ephesians 2:8-9). That much is clear. Having stated that: Observing the things contained within the Torah are not meant to bring salvation. I, nor does anyone else observe the Torah for the purpose of salvation. One observes the things contained with the Torah for the purpose of loving God and keeping His comandments. It is for our good always (Deuteronomy 6:24). Once one has entered into the relationship with God, let's talk about how we are to conduct ourselves within that relationship; that is Torah. The children of Israel were saved out of Egypt first by grace through faith. Then they were taken to Mt. Sinai and given the instructions on the relationship between them and HaShem. That is the pattern. When one marries, it is because they have committed themselves to love the object of their desire. That is faith through grace. After the marriage ceremony begins the process of walking together in unity which involves learning and understanding what each other likes and dislikes. The things that will enhance the relationship versus the things that destroy the relationship. That is Torah. Yeshua said very clearly in John 14:15 “If you love Me, keep My commandments." If we suppose that Yeshua's commandments are different from the Father's commandments, then we have been following a false Messiah and false Prophet (see Dueteronomy 13). Yeshua did not speak on His own authority but only that which His Father instructed Him. John 12:49 "For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak." Grace is not a free pass to disobey the Father. To say that one connot obey the Torah is simply not true. It is more correct to say that we don't keep the Torah than it is to say that we cannot keep the Torah. There a lot of people who don't murder! If we can't keep the Torah then all of humanity wouldn't exist today because everyone would murder because they can't help but do it. You see my point? We don't keep the Torah therefore Messiah Yeshua died on our behalf to provide the necessary atonement that we may have relationship with HaShem. Based on that, we strive to improve our relationship with God and one another which is what Torah is all about. If we haven't understood that the Torah is all about relationship, then we have utterly missed the point. You are also loved as a brother! Blessings.

  • @dirk140

    Thanks for this important teaching... Have to come back to it though to take in all. About the name however, Masshiach's name is nót ónly "Yeshuah". Yeshuah is not a name, it is a noun meaning salvation. His Name is undistinguishable from that of the Father. He says so Himself. Yochanon (John) 17:11-12 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to you. Holy Father, guard them by your Name, the sáme name which you have given me, that they may be yachad (one) as we are. While I was with them in the world, I guarded them in your Name: those that you gave me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the Scripture might be fulfilled. Thus He can only, or at the very least, be Yahusha, that being Yahuah is our yeshuah (husha). This also compares overwhelmingly with the latter part of the Aaronic Blessing, seldom quoted: Bemidbar (Numbers) 6:27 And you shall put my Name upon the children of Yashar'el; and I will bless them. If then the Most high has a name, Yahushah bares the sáme name, the sáme Name He places on us! Yahushah does not receive or bear a different name, neither does the Yashar'El of Elohiym! Think about it, pray about it!

      Glad you're here. Thanks for watching. However, there are some corrections in your "understanding" that need to be made. I'm not sure where you picked up any of this information but I'm willing to wager that it was not from a native Hebrew scholar but someone who doesn't actually know the language. We have to be careful from where we get information. First Yeshua is not a noun. Yeshua-h is a noun in Hebrew however, Yeshua is not Hebrew but Aramaic. In Nehemiah 8:17 we have the Aramiac form of Joshua's name יֵשׁוּעַ בִּן-נוּן . Second, the Messiah has never been called Yahusha. There is not one shred of evidence of the name Yahusha in the history of names in Israel; not in the Talmud, not in the Mishnah, not in any ancient writing. The name that was given to Yeshua was Immanuel, if you remember in Matthew 1:23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” This is the name that was given to Him and He kept those who were given to Him in that name. Third, It's not Yashar'el. Noone calls Israel Yashar'el...ever, except those from the nations who seem to think that they know better than the people of Israel who have been called Israel since the nation was born. It's just another form of replacement theology that somehow Johnny-come-lately learns a few words of Hebrew from Facebook and all of a sudden he knows how to correct the Jewish people on their own language. It's just replacement theology repackaged for sale to a new audience. That's all it is. Fourth, to place the Name upon the people of Israel means to place the attributes of the Holy One, blessed be He, upon those who are called by His Name. Israel has never been called by the Tetragrammaton so it stands to reason that the son of God would carry the attributes of the Father, not His literal Name. Yeshua acted within the will of His Father and therefore carried His Name. It's actually really simple if one thinks about it. Fifth, Israel was given the authority to bind and to loose. This means that they could permit or prohibit certain things. The use of the Tetragrammaton is one those things that Israel prohibited. The last time the Name was uttered was by Shimon HaTzaddik who was the High Priest in the Second Temple period. It was banned from use because the people of that generation and following generations were lacking proper stature and moral conduct. How much less today should anyone attempt to utter the ineffable Name of HaShem. There is at least thirty different ways to pronounce the Name and noone knows how to properly pronounce it. Sixth, just quit with the name thing. It is not a magic incantation that somehow makes one have special powers and special inside information when they "incorrectly" say it. I am going to re-iterate what I said earlier: This is only from the Gentiles in the nations who seem to think they know better than the Jewish people and it's another repackaged form of replacement theology. If you want to get on the right side of things then get yourself an authentic Messianic Jewish Rabbi and learn correctly. Stop listening to these people who appear to know what they're talking about but in reality, they reject the Jewish Rabbi's and the authority of Israel to interpret the Torah. The Jewish people will never know their Messiah if the nations keep on with "The Name" shtuyot. They won't hear it.

    • @dirk140
      @dirk140 2 місяці тому

      @@DerechHaYasharMinistries A lot here to chew on, but for those who would read the comments... There are many scholars who do recognise AND interpret the Hebrew name of Masshiach as Yahushah. It is ONLY Messianic Rabbis so- alled who deny it, just as the greater part of religious brother Yahudah deny it . We see the tetragramaton reflected throughout the prophets and even the naming conventions in the land of Israel. How strange then that rabinic sources and messianic jewish pastors deny that it exists. Let's just put it straight, there is no such thing as a "messianic Rabbi". The Scriptures tell us clearly, we have only one Father, One Rabbi and One Masshiach. End of story. We have loads and laods of friends and teachers and people involved in ministry to the "Jewish" people. We were involved for twenty years or so before Yahuah gradually opened our eyes. I shall end with this for now. Many of above mentioned family in Masshiach go bent under this rabinic spirit and a spirit it is. When Scripture points out prophetically that they will grab hold of Masshiachs shawl and say "teach us the Scriptures" (paraphrased), it points to Yahushah Masshiach that will write His Torah on our hearts and not brother Yahudah. Much love in Yahushah ha'Masshiach

    • @DerechHaYasharMinistries
      @DerechHaYasharMinistries 2 місяці тому

      @@dirk140 Shalom my firend. Thank you for the patient and friendly discussion. Can you point me to at least one credible rabbinic source that acknowledges the name Yahusha? Not some fringe weirdo but an actual legitmate source. As I've pointed out, the Aramiac version of the name of Yeshua is clearly portrayed in Nehemiah 8:17 but the name Yehusha is found nowhere in the Bible nor anywhere is Israel for that matter. It is a purely a fabricated name based on creative connection but bears no truth in reality. It is an insinuation based on John 17 but not factual. Yehoshua is a legitimate name but not Yehusha. The Tetragrammaton is used throughout the Tanach however, never with the nikkudot that would reflect the proper pronunciation of the name. The nikkudot that one would find in a Chumash are nikkudot that reflect the pronunciation of Adonai, not the true Tetragrammton. These are errors that are made by pseudo scholars who aren't trained linguistically in Hebrew. They are Johnny-come-lately's who think they know better than Rabbinic Judaism. This is arrogance of the highest sort. To say that many are "bent under the rabbinic spirit" is antithetical to the fullness of the Gentiles as Rav Sha'ul writes in Romans 11:25. It is anti- Israel anti-Jewish anti-semitic speech, another form of replacement theology. Again, it is arrogant for those who are adopted into the family to tell the natural born son who has been charged with the resposibility to interpret the Torah and decide halachah within its boundaries that they are wrong and don't know what they're talking about. It's ludicrous. If the Sages of Israel were given the authority to permit or prohibit (bind or loose-Matthew 18:18) then it is permitted or prohibited. the use of the Tetragrammaton was prohibited by the halachic authority and that should be the end of the matter.

    New to your channel. Thank you for the worthy teaching. Shalom to you. Many Christians aren't taught the full scriptural council of God, which leaves them/us vulnerable to such deceptions as replacement theology - unless we assume responsibility for our own education, by doing what we're told: search the scriptures daily. Although, the hour is late for much more learning. So, Brothers and Sisters, please do not forget your first love, prayer. Also, please re-read the 7 letters to the 7 churches. We give thanks for our wonderful existence in the blessed hope in becoming a suitable ambassador for you to use us to share the good news about entering an eternal life, more abundant , beyond our comprehension with you and your Begotten Son ,risen from death on behalf of our sin. May your ambassadors be marked and guarded from evil as they progress in the Walk where we follow Jesus, learning to drop worldly Sins, pride; selfishness ; boastful behavior; and humbly consider our Sins to be improper behavior and change our ways to display the shining light that we can share as a public display of your grace and love.
