Botanical Art Talks - Best Bits 2024
During 2024, leading botanical artists took part in 22 online talks, sharing their botanical art techniques in a range of media including graphite, watercolour, coloured pencil, gouache, nature printing, collage and pen and ink.
The talks focused on a range of topics from painting lichen to colour theory, keeping a sketchbook to exhibiting at major botanical art shows. In this video, you will get an overview of the 2024 series of talks, including extracts or images of artwork, projects or processes from many of the talks.

      Also I appreciate your proper use of the word "facile." As a former AP Language teacher I admit I struggled with finding a proper context example for this particular word. Well done.

    A bit of art workshop? Fine. Thank you for sharing you works. I always admire botanical arts. They are very precise/accurate and beautiful at the same time. Your Comic style paintings (would see more like "graphic novel kind") provides easier access to the plants for laypeople. As do graphic novels too, for excample about history and so on. A joy to look at your paintings. Thank you.
