Hey Netherlands, The Hoax are British just remember we loved them first. They are our band not yours!! Yes you may have welcomed them better than us. But that was the stupidity of people in England who didn't have a clue about good music if it hit them in the fucking face. But these boys were born and bread from the England. They knew exactly how funky blues should have sounded. We will take the credit not you. Just remember that. Boomers.

I was very lucky in there hey day to work sound for these guys and it was a pleasure to do so with me being a blues guy, Hugh set me on to the T birds and Kim Wilson. But would you believe when i got married the Steve Fulsham band turned up with mark barret on drums, what a treat he even was too cool about me playing in for a song, made my day and I will never forget it 👍

They must have listened to The Paladins / Years Since Yesterday and "stolen" the cool riffs and made this song from it ;) Not that it's wrong... It just shows they have a great taste of music. Who doesn't love the San Diego rock-a-billy trio?????

These guys are insane. Saw them a few times in Paris in the nineties. Incendiary gigs. They should go on for the next 40 years.

Yeaaah ! If you liked this song, there is an excellent version from Joanne Shaw Taylor in her album "white sugar". Less "big sound" (she is the only guitarist) but the "power blues" energy is still there !
