Переглядів 47Місяць тому

A patient's experience starts from their first contact with our services right through to their last, which in some cases may be years after their first appointment or treatment. Patient Experience stories expand on our feedback by listening to, and learning directly from, the patients, carers, and fami...

In a sterile operating environment, I wouldn't expect to still be wearing my shoes, especially if I was going under GA.
This is awesome! Your positive and forward-thinking innovation is very attractive.

I have the get my tooth extracted, and I want to die i’m going to say something extremely stupid when I wake up reveal my secrets and who knows what will happen😢
thank you so much

Excellent and good to know mental health care has been updated and help to people who need it is out there. Well done to all concerned.
Things are easy now When I was a kid I was never put to sleep I remember I that wen to the dentist twice and they only use local anesthesia once One time they didn't even use anesthesia and they pulled out a tooth that was painful, which is why I was left with that trauma, but I got over it. Sorry English is not first my language so you will notice a lot mistake 😂
Good topic but background music is distributing
i had wisdom teeth removed and they put me exorcist movie for me
This is amazing. Thank you
Thank you
My 96 yr old mom with dementia is having conscious sedation for a crown. Hope it goes well...very expensive.
I see Eeyore and Tigger on the picture on the wall!!
Can you recommend me some books or websites to clear my commission test please it's my dream 😭
Had to stop watching this video due to irritating annoying dramatic sound bite bullet points between sections (alternative videos available). This is poor presentation practice. It is not mentally reinforcing - it is intrusive, distracting and irritating. A course in presentation may be educational - this NHS presentation hasn't go a clue. Sound bites and background music do not enhance educationals and documentaries - they intrude and distract. A confident and clearly articulated presentation does not need intrusive sound bite bullet points.
Why the rubbing bro like that?
1:31 lol I just realized that's maybe a kin
I dont have any children. This was very useful, thank you.
I’m in my 30s, my dentist said I am not suitable for general anethesia incase of I have never had surgery before and anything going wrong! I have learning disability and phobia of dentist and surgery
even with conscious sedation you should be fine. Is that an option? You wont sleep but you wont be much aware of the extraction
Thank you so much
I started at 4 months properly, but he had some at 3 just to test the waters. He can sit up, hold his head and was reaching for my food so i started even though the guidance is 6 months. He held the spoon the other day and was feeding himself which was adorable, but i can barely get a health visitor out to see him of i have concerns so ive just been led by the baby
How much did this bs cost the tax payer?
Thank you Tina. This was really clear and easy to follow.
I had this done when I was 10. They gave me an injection and then I woke up again and my teeth weren’t there. I have to go back to get a couple of wisdom teeth removed. I know everything will be fine. Do not be scared of the Dentist hospital.
Did u say anything bad or like a secret
I have to remove my wisdom teeth and I’m so nervous 😢😢😢😢

Hi
How long does it take for the anesthesia to ware off,how many hours ? Thanks
it wears off the moment they stop giving you the anesthetic. They literally wake you up in the same way that your mom use to wake you up for school :)
@@nenaddimitrijevikj5125 nah i had my arm broken when i whas little they said i whas out for like 2 hours after they were done
@@nenaddimitrijevikj5125 Do you not feel 'wired' or 'high' for a few hours after they stop giving you anesthetic? Never been given anesthetic in my life as you can tell.
The best part is the anaesthetic it’s so relaxing then you’re out in a few seconds like it never even happened

i did it on Wednesday 28.02.24. I had 13 teeth pulled. I literally dont remember anything. I just remember sitting in the chair and the next thing i know was when they were waking me up to move a bit so thy can put me in bed. So, for those who are freaking out of general anesthesia i tell you, relax, like relax 110%, you wont know a thing
Oh wow,I had 7 extractions 03/07/24.i don't remember anything Woke up,was on the way home.
how is the recovery? Do you have pain post op?@@carolynfitzgerald6654
Thank you, need a root canal done and this seems to be the only way forward, been worried about it but reading recounts like this makes me feel much better.
@@gyrthez246 trust me you can totally relax. You wont even know when you will fall asleep. I didnt. It just went dark and the next second they were waking me up. Sleep tight and do it asap, you will be fine. I didnt even have swellings or pain at all, except some annoying pinching but i dont even consider that
@@carolynfitzgerald6654 yeah i got my vision back in the room cause they wanted to monitor me for 2-3 hours
Welcome to the fairies
👏
Thank you. Im about to be put to sleep in few days for major dental work. Going under general anesthesia is also new to me as well. These videos help me understand that for me it will be like a blink of an eye
😂xxㅅㅇb
How do you even get that option. I got referred but the said all they can do there is sedation. I just said ok and took it but chances are I won't go for it. Only way I can face it is to be fully asleep
@@osbornfamilyadventures the option isnt available everywhere. In my town only 2 private dental offices do it and one general hospital but you also pay as private patient. I searched alot. I was so disappointed with the first clinic that i went to i even started looking outside my country
@nenaddimitrijevikj5125 do you have to get intubated for this procedure that's what scares me
@@lightyagami8639 yes i had two tubes down my throat the doctor told me. One to clean all the mess in my throat and one for breathing. But i just had little sore throat and nothing major. My tongue was numb for weeks cause they had to pull it left and right cause it expanded so much due to the missing teeth it was in their way. But im telling you, you wont know a thing so i wont worry about it at all. Even the numbed tongue wasnt that much of an issue just couldnt feel the food cause i had to use it alot instead of chewing ;) i will tell you again, do t worry uou wont know a thing. They dont start putting tubes and monitors until you are out. You will only feel when they will wake you up and start preparing to go home. I didnt even have swellings after 13 lost teeth and absolutely no pain except a little annoying ones but even then they were not worth taking pain killer
This is the best summary I have ever seen of managing challenging behaviour. Whoever you are, I really wish I had you in our lives. Thank you ❤
