Hi nowhere did i actually hear the bird whistle. 16 years ago I taught my Lilac Crowned Amazon (Jasper) to whistle many tunes one being the first 30 secs of Twisted Nerve commonly known as Kill Bill. It was over a week he learnt the tune. He had to hear the tune as a recording and about 20 times a day for a week or so. He would then start to repeat the tune. He would get it mixed up to begin then eventually get it right. He could whistle many tunes inc. For a few dollars more, Indiana Jones, Popeye, Coronation st and Under the bridges of Paris. To name a few. The amazing thing is he could whistle in 2 part harmony. Good example was the Jews Harp and whistling together in For a few dollars more. I play this for my Quaker parrot (who will be 2 next month) and he is starting to pick it up! Great job replicating and looping this theme with a whistle it’s the best video out there to be used to teach parrots!

I started whistling this to keep my bird entertained and he seemed to like it, then today he started flying around and I started to whistle this (because I don't have a recall whistle since he isn't trained for that yet and this whistle was on the top of my head) and he came to me. Apparently he likes it enough to come to it lol
