You're bike shouldn't need a catch can. If it's spitting out that much oil then you need to look at the umbrella valve in the rocker box.

All that water is from the catch can system itself.all the autos million/billions of cars,trucks,motos, boats,ect have been venting crank case pressure back into the motor via the air intake for longer than you've been alive .The few drops of oil that make back to the intake does not hurt the motor any. The truth is more oil slips pass the rings and valve guides ending up in the combustion chamber than from the pcv system.Good looking bike if you like the look of the catch can that's cool too! But for the people that don't have one it's not going to hurt the motor

it would be necessary to bring a return pipe into the intake to create a vacuum in the suction of the breather and remove the small filter, this is what has been done on the cars

Doesn’t the case ventilation need the vacuum from the intake? Looks cool just not sure the crankcase is being ventilated, there is a method that uses a catch can while still getting the ventilation.

Any harley engine builder will tell you a catch can helps with top breather hd motors period. Needed nope . Better if you had one 100% . Simple ..hd implemented a top breather air cooled Evolution engine in 1993. Then twin cam in 1999 in touring models etc Now you have the M8 . The design is to allow crankcase pressure to release and directed to burn back into motor because of EPA and a cheap way to dispose of and not into atmosphere as per EPA. These air cooled motors burn misted oil and condensation back into your motor to be burned off. This causes extra carbon build up ontop of piston which is totally not needed and reduces performance and longevity period. Retaining this stock form the motor will last usually a long time but if you could keep your motor running more efficient and performance longer it is a no brainer. A catch can if properly installed and allowed to vent like this idea is a great idea as it catches the moisture and mist while venting to atmosphere creating an open vent system instead of a closed loop like other high end systems putting into oil pan . A simple idea and nice cheap idea that is beneficial especially for cost.

I got Trask CheckM8 to take care of the breather problem, and then deleted the tubes inside the air intake, instead of trying to do an external vent. Works great.

Got similar catch can on my 2019 Heritage 114. Before I put it on my throttle body would be coated with black goo, this eliminates that issue completely. I’m talking about from brand new. Nothing wrong with the motor. I also had a 1995 Yamaha VMax that would send oil vapor into the breather, did the same thing with it too. Don’t tell me my motor has issues.
