Engine Failure in Flight
Engine flame out at FL360
Aviate, autopilot CMD-A disconnected fly the aircraft check the problem.
Navigate, autopilot CMD-B available, connect and check route.
Comunicate, mayday Engine one fail, SQ 7700 TCAS TA only.
Check adeguate engine out thrust, drift down altitude and target speed. Unable to maintain speed start descent with a 45 degrees deviation from route and advise ATC. Check for available airport in the area, the planned alternate is nearest and the runway length adeguate to the emergency even if worst weather. Prepare for approach Flap 15. Safe landing in Lulea, Sweden.

Where was the alarm button?
That’s not the way it’s normally done. Normally you would switch off external power and the APU would pick up the load. Then the EXT power icon would disappear once they shut off external power from the GPU. In this video someone pulled the plug while the GPU is supplying power to the aircraft.

You prepared from the beginning the second flight plan back to Linate, so you engine failure simulation is not near real. You should change FP after the occurrence!
there's no problem for me to change flight plan inflight ;) anyway, I can do video of 15 minutes max... I am used to put in the sec flight plan the return to the departure airport, passing FL100 if any failure occurred I copy the actual flight plan in the secondary flight plan. I was doing an engine out procedure so it wasn't a surprise :) You have to put the return flight plan in the secondary, if it was an engine fire or fire onboard is better to have a flight plan fully ready to land ASAP regards.

Sounds like 1986. Only the engines have changed on the A320 since then.
Well, the gauges were changed from crts to lcds in 2003, and the standby gauges have gone from analog to lcds, but that’s it.

ciao, abbiamo provato a condividere lo schermo del pc del mio caro amico Alessio con Teamviewer, io da remoto potevo vedere ed utilizzare tutti i tasti del cockpit, purtroppo ho un po' di scatti er la connessione, mentre al telefono parlavamo. Molto interessante stare in due nel cockpit, ci siamo divertiti. Stiamo cercando di capire se riusciamo a fare lo shared cockpit con il toliss su xplane sky4crew.com/smartcopilot/.
