So of course I see this video and I realize how much I miss marching with the Southerners and severyone I knew from Southerners. :'( It was the best time of my life and I wish I could have stayed in college, but poverty is the damnedest thing.

Very nice show! So please let me offer some constructive observations. Your show needs to have more contrast with the tempos. Emphasize the highs and lows more. And use the variations to really tell the story. Watch Minnesota Brass and the Buccaneers for good examples. Nessun Dorma was a good choice, but it sounded like you were playing a marching band half-time version of the piece. It should have had a more dramatic soul. Don't just quote a piece. Make it your own emotional signature. Make it more a part of your musical narrative. Some great stuff from 7:00 to 7:40 or so!! This segment "sounds" like your true voice. All that said, I think Atlanta CV is in the running for being a perennial top DCA corps.
