I grew up in Navasota. 50s and 60s was a great time to be alive in Navasota. Have tons of great memories. You should interview Richard Weaver of Weaver Apiaries between Navasota and Hempstead. His family has been in the bee/honey business for 150 years.

Railroad street was not discussed, but I see it is getting closer to completion. I will miss the old tile street names in the curb that said Railroad Ave. Are there any plans to add anything like this back that would pay homage to the railroad history of the street itself? It was always nice seeing this little hidden piece of history.

It would be really great to have some trails around town.

I go out every week and sit on Railroad street to watch and film the trains that come through town. Grab some food on the way in to town, set out some lawn chairs and usually catch 1 or 2 trains in an hour. Can't wait for the street to be completed.

I grew up with Seinfeld. I got the big box that comes with the coffee table book about coffee tables.

Glad to call Navasota home. Don't forget about the trains!
