So VERY PROUD that Johnny grew up in BATON ROUGE, LA, graduated the old BR High School, after he began to make it big assured Dick Clark he continued living in his family home in BR, returned to BR High to perform a benefit concert for his beloved high school! Years ago, I saw Johnny perform another benefit at Baton Rouge's Old State Capitol building and walked away with the guitar pick he'd used. ❤
