I loved Prime, but it’s disappointing third season and Sonic’s overall terrible portrayal are definitely issues I had. If they want to write a more flawed Sonic just do what the movies did imo

Imma be real Sonic felt really dumbed down here than ever before, considering in Frontiers you have him facing titans made of corrupt energy, while here it portrays him as not being able to do anything right, look we all think seeing Sonic get his crap handed to him is good since it shows he doesn't just have plot armor but in this show it's a bit much

honestly Sonic Underground is way worse than Prime, there are some good aspects about the latter like the detailed and expressive animation, and some creative ideas (even if not well-executed) while Underground has only like a banger theme song and that's it

I haven’t finished the first season, so maybe I’m wrong, but it just feels boring and I just don’t like it. I love the animation so much but the story just doesn’t interest me and I don’t understand the extra dimensions. I dont think I’m gonna be able to finish it lol

just gonna say, i though sonadow prim- i mean sonic prime was an amazingly animated series. though i found himself just kinda spacing out every once in a while. and if it weren't for the animation i probably wouldve stopped watching it entirely

It's sounds like a such cope from a large portion of manga readers. "I think that people will take it as gay". Baby gurl it is gay, you being afraid that people " will be seeing it as gay" shows how much copium and mental gymnastics you had to go throgh to accept it. People will see it as homoerotic scene BECAUSE IT IS. There is more to the scene but it's a big part of it. And yeah it's not just a BL manga, it's so much more. But BL is a part of if. The Summer Hikaru Died would not be the same without BL line. I hope this adaptation will relief the stigma around BL anime and BL in media in general.

as someone who plays genshin, the thing im most annoyed/angry about is how 'boycotters' never stopped playing the game. they would have 'boycott hoyo!' in their captions while continuing to play genshin and create genshin content. there was this one specific screenshot where someone tweeted 'dont forget to boycott hoyo!' and their next tweet was 'can't wait for Navia's banner tomorrow!' i dont care whether people boycott or not but if you say you are atleast do it properly. 'you can still criticise the game while playing it!' it really just sounds like you want to feel like you're this good person when you're addicted to this game i hope what i typed is readable

People hate whitewashing more than “blackwashing” whatever you call it because it’s not just about changing a skin tone. Whitewashing completely strips a the cultural and racial identity of a person a color. It has a long and troubling history rooted in racism and discrimination. By making character more white it not only erases their identity but bring harmful stereotypes. By the way I’m not hating I’m just explaining as to why one gets more hate than the other.

Have not yet had the chance to read the manga but the only reason I had even heard about it (and added it to my list) is because of the queer subtext. I knew it wasn't BL but was interested because of the fact that, as a gay man, getting a psychological horror manga with a queer cast is super rare, no matter how small the gay aspect is.

I just don’t enjoy games that are constantly over sexualising women in general, it’s rare to find a female character in the media that isn’t just supposed to be gawked at or a stepping stone for the male lead, not to mention that it’s constantly promoting unrealistic beauty standards. Genuinely wouldn’t even have much of a problem with it if it sexualised male characters like it did the female characters, not to mention that the way they advertise the game is very sexualising so obviously it people are going to assume it’s a Gooner game? Having large breasts isn’t sexual but when ur constantly sexualising it for a make audience ppl are going to think of them as sexual, not to mention the fact that it makes a lot of ppl feel insecure about their bodies bc they can never match fiction

As someone who lives in Asia and is Asian, I'm may not japanese, but you don't speak for everyone, not even asian people. It's also not a shocker, because fun fact Koreans and Filipinos can be racist as well, especially poking fun out of people who either are also Koreans/Filipino that have darker skin or afros themselves are always the butt of a joke. Japan despite it being an imperialist country is diverse as other countries are, especially their skin tone, there's literally an afro Japanese, and other Japanese tribes with darker skin tones (and any skin tone for that matter). For context and differences between a headcanon blackwashing and whitewashing: People who usually white wash to black characters "trigger" people within the art community, meanwhile people who *"blackwash"* just project themselves into, because they love the characters. Do you think that racism will disappear right away after people with darker skin appear on TV? If Racism isn't a thing anymore, people wouldn't attack an artist like this over their skin and accuse it as "black-washing". That's why those people who "headcanon" them to have darker skin do that because they want to, not because they wanted to offend people. People on US are still discriminatory towards Koreans anyways, mostly Chinese people and then worse, probably Mexicans or Black people. It won't disappear any time soon. That's the primary differences that this video doesn't understand the history of it. This video just sucks and possibly brain dead take, especially the DanDanDan fanart just came in as harmless rather than hurting people purposefully. Edit: Some "white wash" art though are accidental and unintentional (Most of them are though), and people had the right to call some artists out whenever they're accusing someone of being racist, however, I do absolutely think this video is in bad faith and it's basically saying "Blackwashing bad because people who are being white washed are being called out on" reminds me of Hero Hei's videos. Coming from the Alien Stage you made, it sounds more promising, fair or at least reasonable despite how I disagree of it a bit, I'd hope you won't fall on a trap like how most people do with their content.
